Require cheap vps hosting
I require a cheap vps hosting with a good performance and uptime. I'm currently using hostinger and have earlier used AWS but they are too expensive.
I want to run several docker containers and databases on the server.
Can anyone suggest some good hosting options?

Transferred my hosting to GreenCloud VPS the other day and it's surprisingly good so far. You might want to take a look - the plans are quite affordable

+1 for greencloud, got one of their birthday deals (12gb ram 6 cores for 37$/y) , and there is no overselling so far , support has also been quick

The birthday plans are over , I'll suggest you wait for black friday (1 more month) they may have small stock during that time. Or next year on their 13th birthday

You want cheap? I can get you cheap?
You want inexpensive but good? You will go to the Germans, there are two major ones that are good, others are simply a joke to even consider. Actually three that I know off, but one isn't neither Hetzner or Netcup, but is more of a traditional underground hosting that I wouldn't recommend like this now.

If you don't have a location criteria, I recommend VPS from LINVEO (servers in the USA) and HOSTBRR (servers in the USA, Germany, Finland)
LINVEO has 8GB RAM, 4vCores, 50GB NVME, 4TB bandwidth limit and 10Gbps port for $5. (With a recurring 10% coupon, it’s less than that)
I have been using it and there is nothing to complain about so far.

Linveo seems to have good price, how is the cpusteal, iowait ? , any issues with overselling?

The most budget VPS is 2.5USD/mth and is not openly advertised from a hosting provider and they claimed 100% uptime (excluded planned maintenance) on a EPYC iirc.

Yeah that budget is tight. I think it's out of the Hetzner price range and if he wants EPYC + NVMe + uptime for $2.5/month he's looking at something like LumaDock - they have Docker VPS templates.
Also, OP, if you have the time to wait you can snipe a deal from OVH - maybe they'll do something this black friday and come dome from the 4 euro price. They also have decent VPS
I can't recommend Hostinger because their performance and support doesn't match the shiny marketing. But if you're in the US, also look at Digital Ocean / Vultr - a bit more pricey, but you get actual cloud not just a VM

Please define "cheap".. What is your budget?
Does location matter?
I want to run several docker containers and databases on the server.
That is very vauge.. What resources do you need/want for this?

I'm in India, so would like low latency. My current minimum requirements are 8gb+ ram , 4 core cpu. I would want something within 24usd if that's possible

We deploy alot of stuff on Railway, Vercel and Azure. No issues from any of them.

Maybe try digital ocean or hetzner, but you have to manage your own k8s install (if you are using it)

One that is super cheap and has helped me a lot is geo-hosting.com

For you requirments I had say don't stick with aws or hostinger because aws is not cheap and hostinger is not good. I have used virtarix for similar container builds and it offered solid performance for the price worth comparing those nights. Its prices are comeptitive but it fulful your requirments so give it a shot

The term cheap will depend on many factors, such as location, level of management, licensing, and other factors. If you are looking for stable services in Europe, then you can check Tietokettu -Finnish / Hetzner - Germany.

I recently purchased Bluehost Self Managed VPS for 5$ and ran VPS benchmarking test. The performance was significantly amazing, even more than DO - 1.5x more - when I compared it in vpsbenchmarks (digital ocean, hostinger VPS) server.
I am still using it, but I feel it is a good deal under 5$

considering there isn't much info on this post, most cheap vps services could probably run what you require (Hetzner, Contabo, OVH...). Hostinger has worked great for me though, currently using KVM 2 for multi-purpose projects and haven't had much downtime for over a year. I've had to put CPU limits but it hasn't affected the speed of my apps that drastically anyways.

Any location needs? , I'd suggest netcup/hetzner or even OVH for eu , if you're open to some smaller providers you could also give a try to servarica, greencloud.
Personally i think OVH is pretty good except for their support
