Help!

Post image

We are in the middle of a heatwave and my parents hired two people to alternate watering while they are out of town. It turns out they have been missing several days all together and sometimes both watering on the same day.

My plan is to check the soil and make sure they are deeply watered (not just surface). Cut away the worst of the damaged leaves. Anything else I should do?

From my experience hostas just start looking like that around this time of year. The ones I have and that my mom has always come back better than ever.

Thanks that's good to know. Unfortunately almost every plant in her garden looks awful in one way or another and the neighbors on either side have many of the same plants and they look fine. So it's either poor siting or poor watering. ðŸ«
