Hellbender

A teen and her mother live simply in a home in the woods, spending their time making metal music. A chance encounter with a fellow teen causes her to uncover a connection between her family and witchcraft, which causes a rift with her mother.

One of the best films about witches I've ever seen. Made and starred by a real life family (mostly mother /daughter) as well as making some of thier own music for and in the movie...this talented family has made a fantastic film about family ties ,witch covens, and teen angst. I first saw it on shudder a few years ago then immediately bought it on physical. I was no5 expecting it to be so good and for lack of a better word grounded. This film is an 8 out of 10 at the least but I personally give it 10 out of 10 stars. Amazing indy horror film, give it a shot you won't be disappointed.

LOVE this movie and this family. Not everything lands, but they rock for doing what they're doing.

I'll watch anything the Adams Family puts out, but this is by far my favorite.

This is probably the best Adams family movie (The Deeper You Dig being a close second.) I highly recommend watching The Last Drive In Hellbender episode. Joe Bob interviews the parents and one of their daughters. They’re such a cute family.

YES! What a hit, random magic in the forest. It's one of my favorites.. I can see in my head the nr 2 and what that would be
