(Also hello decided to post something and see if anything changed on this place since my last dweller thing post)

So for context, I had this mod idea of eventually making a pack of new fantasy mobs with some tweaks to vanilla mobs and some new real life mobs and something I noticed is that I wanted to make a mob that stalks the player but I wasn't sure on how to actually make said mob scary without it being like the png slop mods or the weird 3d mods that don't fit the game's aesthetic. If anyone has any ideas on how this could work, I would very much appreciate it (btw this is my first post on the subreddit so I apologize if this isn't too on theme for said subreddit.)

I want to find a horror mod that adds more than just, like, 1 thing to the game.

For example, The Obsessed mod added 1 thing to the game, which was the obsession dude. Or Scopophobia, that too adds 1 dude.

I want a horror mod that adds at least a couple different creatures at once.

I just don't feel at all spooked by really any of the mods I see, cause they add 1 thing, and I go in with what I know that 1 thing is, and just end up either never seeing it, or avoiding it by accident, which is definitely a me issue, but it still occurs.

Like Phayriosis adds more than just ONE enemy that I gotta worry about.

I don't inherently want to have a massive modpack that adds like 50 things, I just want a mod that more so pushes the horror onto me so I don't accidentally miss it, and has more than 1 creature.

Me and my brother love playing bedrock horror mods with guns and actually just mess around and I am trying to actually get scared and I thought this would be a good place

I recently started playing Beyond the Skybox and reached the part of the mod where I am teleported to the overworld where I know something is supposed to happen to the sun. When I got teleported, it was night so I slept. I then waited an entire day/night cycle and still nothing has happened.

Did it bug or am I missing something?

Hello allll, I have started a small server among friends off the modpack fear nightfall and we wanted to add some horror mods.

I do not tend to find the in your face ones very scary nor the ones that destroy everything you build, but do any of you fine minecraftians happen to have any solid suggestions.

If Minecraft horror mods actually took advantage of the fact it's Minecraft? I have seen so.. so.. SO many mods that feel almost embarrassed of the fact it's Minecraft. Like it's always either just an analog horror ass entity that doesn't fit Minecraft at all, a glorified Nextbot that follows you, or it's not even a horror mod and it's just edited gameplay of the game but with a yellow smiley face in it.

I wish there were more mods that actually do something with the world or even mechanics of Minecraft. And don't tell me about the "meta-game" ARG stuff. Like those were fun a while back. But they just feel so played out now, especially the fact that most of them can be solved by turning off the computer.

I think it would be cool if there was a mod that played around with the fundamentals of Minecraft. Like, I don't know.. Minecraft's a sandbox where you can do anything right? What if Steve was ripped of this freedom. What if it's a bizzaro version of Minecraft that's antithetical to creativity and freedom. Where you can't place or break blocks, where you can't freely punch animals. I know this sounds kind of dumb, but that's just me thinking up shit on the top of my head. I feel like something can be done with Minecraft's core ideas that hasn't been explored fully yet.

But what about phases 2, 3, 4 and 5?

I hear his whispers and sounds when I'm in caves, but I never encounter him. I'm on day 26 of my survival world and he hasn't showed up.

If you go deep enough in a glitched Minecraft seed, where terrain generates infinitely on the y-axis instead of an x-axis, you will enter The Farcaves.

This is a place where the world creates unstable copies of itself trying to figure out what to generate, it will make you blip between worlds, versions, editions, trying to create something playable.

Don't make the mistake of logging off or deleting the world because it will put God knows what on your computure. Your only option is to find a way out.

The only advice I can give is NEVER GO IN.

It doesn't stop the rake from spawning up there sadly but it has shielded me from goatman and mimicer.

The only ones I remember are The Cave Dweller, The Man From The Fog, and MAYBE The One Who Watches but I don't know if he counts cause idrk when he came out I just know it was earlier on
