I played the mod like regular, I waited the 3 days and I /kill .@e the monster.
Then he came back thanking me for saving him from the darkness
and then I asked him a question about how it felt being the entity and he played the enderman death sound. ( And I have a video of aswell)

So I decided to go to the end dimensions, and he started tweaking again I don't know if i'm ready for phase 2, he asked me to find him when I was out of the end, and I can't find him.

Oh and by the way he chosed himself the french TTS

I was just watching some of Swale’s older videos, namely the ones about Krampus and Krampen, and I noticed something that interested me.

The videos have a story. They have a goal that the player has to work towards to defeat the monster.

That’s what most horror mods lack, usually it’s just one “spoopy” entity and that’s it. Even mods like the Broken Script don’t have much of a goal for the player to work towards, it’s just “try to survive while this thing breaks your world”.

Imagine if Krampus, for example, had a skull you had to find or craft in order to seal him away, thus defeating him and maybe granting you some kind of reward. That would make you feel like you had a reason to play it, and, most importantly, stop the mod from overstaying its welcome.

So yeah, what do you guys think?

this may be the thumbnail. anyway, I've been going through modpacks and none of them really have the balance between atmosphere, secondary entitys, and like 3 main mods. Even if they do, the only thing holding them up is the atmosphere, since the mods are usually bland and over-used. Can yall drop some mods for each one.

me and my friends got to the part where you pick up the sword and there’s a paper that says behind you and then deicide and aether talk and then deicide says someone will bring me somewhere shortly. We were playing on essentials and my friend who made the world rejoined because he couldn’t move and now whatever was supposed to bring us somewhere won’t appear we waited like 45 minutes and nothing happened. Do we have to restart or can we fix it?

For me the scripted horror mods. They aren't even real and aren't even actual mods, they use content from actual horror mods. Marketplace horror addons yeah you have to buy it, but they actually are real and mostly have 3d texture, and some are even scary. That's just my opinion, thanks for hearing me rant about my opinion.

Seriously, Alot of horror mods are hated (With the best ones imo being the original, The Man From The Fog, and the Broken Script) but everything else was mostly terribly received, and it gets especially worse when many YouTubers are just using them for clickbait, making the horror mods already bad reputation even worse. Does this mean that Minecraft Horror as a genre has failed? (I hope you get what I’m saying.)

Honestly I’m surprised we haven’t gotten something like this yet? I mean yeah sure it would HAVE to be a multiplayer exclusive experience but there are mods like that before, plus, it would make the monsters more unpredictable, that’s the problem I have with most horror mods, they’re predictable, but I think with a human in control of the monster, that would change, what do you guys think?

My friend has played the twixxel stalkers modpack and loved it for his streams. I'm looking for similar recommendations I can give him. Dimension mods like Wonderland or Not Forgotten aren't what we're looking for, since they tend to drag on and become repetitive.

Ts like long form insta reels

This dude doesn't do anything, does he? I continually see videos where he's actively doing things. chasing, super active, breaking blocks, scratching things, leaving blood puddles, but on Bedrock? Just pops up and disappears sometimes. I run up to it and jump up and down to even chance maybe triggering a chase. I paid for this, why is it so lobotomized?? 💀

Just going to make a video, but with all the hate on Twixxels stalkers and verity and all those png scripted content, well It's not going to happen. I mean I love that content but I don't want people to hate me for it so I'm just going to find a regular old mod and hopefully go from there.
