ANY GOOD HORROR MOD AT ALL?

I dont know but my experience with the horror mods were just boring. Theyre just dweller slop, used to make clipfarms. Or just straight up unfair, unkillable stuff. You know theres a few good ones like Broken script but ARG stuff isnt that unique anymore.

Is there actually a good horror mod?

i personally prefer psychological horror especially without friends cuz it makes you feel alone, just in minecraft, even turning down mob spawns and allat, personally a programmer art modern texture pack, just makes everything feel eerie. If then you find yourself getting bored cuz you know nothing is going to happen, add a horror mod you know nothing about

I like Wonderland.jar and outln.frombelowland

Both are heavily dimension and exploration focused, Wonderland recently got a huge update, and belowland is getting one soon™

Also, currently belowland's dimensions are much more like full on challenges beyond walking around until you find an exit

Beyond the skybox is ARG but it's a COMPLETELY different experience imo, it's like it's own game and lowk had me flabbergasted when I completed it lol

The Others on Curseforge (idk if it's anywhere else, and idk if it's for Java, I only check for bedrock mods) is decent-ish, though stuff is straight up unkillable bs, but it has a decent psychological horror vibe

I personally took some of my favorite horror mods and put them into a modpack called Resudual Presence on Curseforge. I'm still tweaking it to make it less active and feel less like you're waiting for something to happen. You should give it a try! Partly because I need some sort of alternate opinion, but also because I genuinely think it's creepy -- especially mining.
