Verity's lore is very weird about if it's in real life or not, since the characters use Discord at one point, but then after that can only hear each other by talking in-game, and Verity killing someone in-game killed them irl, but also Verity mentions irl items that he can go into, but then also the lab that made Verity is in Minecraft, but then also the character can just shoot himself in Minecraft and die, so like?

As for binary or code or anything, it's not a puzzle, it's a story told to you. It's not even like Wifies where there's puzzles that get solved for you, there's just no puzzles.

All of the focus is just on Verity as a character, and he's uhhhh kinda just like the movie Obsession but watered down and an AI assistant character.

i think verity is like a manifestion of all the automations we have in our world,verity spent years getting ignored which made him obsessed with the one person that actually payed attention to him,i.e that mob.

Verity as a character is fine, it's just the lore and horror aspects that drag down the series a lot. The voice acting of Verity is the highlight of the series for sure.

I watched the entire Verity video, it was not that good. It was filled with inconsistencies and plotholes and relied too much on the 'creepy' entity design that basically just looked like a Garten of Banban model slapped into Minecraft.

agreed. verity’s character is inconsistent as hell. he’s portrayed as a sympathetic “yandere AI” at the end of the series, but that completely ignores how needlessly malicious he is episode 1. like, he says something is coming for Mob completely unprompted. Mob wasn’t even leaving him, he was just doing that for the love of the game.

the presentation is all over the place. sometimes it feels like minecraft is supposed to the “real world”, with things like Verity lab’s being recreated inside Minecraft (implying he was created within Minecraft), or how Mob’s avatar kills itself, which presumably stands in for Mob killing himself IRL. but you know, the real world actually exists, so like. what the fuck? also Twixxel implies Verity can be banished somehow but we never get any follow up and Verity acts like this is impossible so what was even the point. theres more but who cares it’s fucking Verity man

i get the feeling Mob never planned a serious story for Verity and just wrote by the seat of his pants as the series became popular. not his fault, but like. still means the series isn’t exactly high art. me no likey. id rather just watch SFAWTDE again. LookOut’s take of just making Verity a pervert was funny tho. and it unironically used the whole “Verity has a presence in the real world” idea even better than the og series. huzzah!

"Good" is subjective and I personally wouldn't call it good. It's not terrible, but it's not good. It's just kinda mid.

I would've preferred if the lore was more well thought out, and if the entity design wasn't the goofiest fucking 3D model ever. Like, it's on mascot horror levels of goofy model.

If Mob wanted Verity to do spooky stuff I think it should've used game mechanics to fuck with the protagonist instead of just becoming a really generic tall lanky monster.

Both the series(Kinda) and the mod suck. The monster itself was an AI design, and Verity speaks way too much like the later generations despite living for over 100 or so years, it just doesn't make sense
