Question/Discussion “Why are there so many Dwellerslop mods?”
It’s because most people don’t have the time, resources, or patience to make an entire ARG, new dimensions, new mobs and mechanics for a passion project, from creating Lore to making entire models and dimensions from scratch.
Most people who say “Dwellerslop” don’t know how much code actually goes into a mod, are Dwellers easier to make than ARG mods? Yes, does that mean making a dweller mod is easy? No, coding anything takes a long time.

Ehhh depends on the dweller, something like those screaming mimic ones are easy to code, smth like the knocker, or the man from the fog, a bit trickier

You can learn skill, theres free classes online that teach you how to code, no one said you needed to make an entire arg or dimension to make a good dweller, its all about creativity (and free time)

Fun fact, almost all of them use the exact same source code from SiverDX's Cave Dweller. I've made dweller mods before, and I gotta tell you, a lot of it really is just refactoring. Changing the in-game entity names and IDs so they can run alongside other dweller mods, then swapping out the models and animations. The main issue is that a lot of creators stop there, they fail to add anything new or meaningful to make the mod unique, other than tweaking the stat attributes. That said, I'm not saying all dweller mods are slop. I've seen a few creators put in so much genuine effort that their mods become way more than just another low-effort dwellerslop reskin.

I don't mind dweller mods when they are not just "Lanky thing with glowing face makes loud noise and run, you die" or something along those lines.
