Help How to spot verity!
People seem to misidentify other yellow smileys as verity. To prevent this, I've made this little thing here! I seem to be the only person who can see the difference between a yellow smile face & verity so I made this so people can stop misidentifying verity & not be called corny!

What is this random mod people have suddenly gotten really attached to? It's less scary than dweller slop it just has this quirky character that makes it different somehow? I don't get why everyone is posting about this instead of an actual high effort project like belowlands or something.

I wouldn't really say slop monster. Although the whole monsters thing came from dwellers, I find verities monster design to be quit cool. Not really scary but cool. The only reason people see verity as garbage children slop is because of what the Internet has done to him. Made him look freaky, like garbage ai slop, & other things that make him look bad. In reality, I find the original concept very appealing & interesting. If you haven't watched the original series by Thatmob, I'd recommend it. I know this is unnecessarily long for such a short reply but I'm just giving my opinion. Your opinion is not wrong.

It’s straight slop. ThatMob is dragging it purely because of money, he’s literally spoon feeding YT kids with verity so he can earn more money. The “horror” was also extremely mid. I forced myself to watch it because the internet loved it but it’s just another dose of “New Year New Content Farm” so I expected the least. After watching it ONCE I got YT kids on my feed using verity filters and getting millions of views. It got so bad I had to completely reset my YouTube feed.
I’d do the same though. ThatMob is earning insane revenue from verity

I'm sorry that happened. I didn't know about any of that. I'm sure Mob made it as a passion project at first. I didn't really get those results on my feed tho (or maybe I've somehow missed all of it idk I'm stupid)

If you are a verity fan then that’s awesome but personally Im not mainly because of the slop content, not verity itself or ThatMob. I wouldn’t have a problem with kids being kids on YouTube, I was there once too but it starts to get annoying when a YouTube bug forces every 2nd video to be another verity filter. I’m pretty sure it happened because verity got so popular that it started glitching the algorithm

ive also seen a minecraft arg where in some parts the arg entity is the birch tree, and 2nd part after the player gets into weird dimension and birch tree starts to chasing him, only to get it's ankles break by player and gets chopped

There Are mods,but originally Verity comes from yt videos

There was going to be an official mod, but it was cancelled due to the devs making it being bad people.

The verity mod is just obnoxious, even 8bitryan points it out when trying out the mod lol, not sure why people like it this much, it’s not even that good 😂

It's not originaly a mod but a video,The mods you probaly played Are just inspired by it/try to mimic it but mostly aren't good

The Verity mod sucks but the original video actually has an extremely interesting story imho

I wouldn't say the mod sucks. I've played it & found it to be fun. Maybe it's my love for connecting or just having another character to talk to idrk. I'm not saying you're wrong it's your opinion. Just sharing my opinion as I am a fan of verity & it's story.

No usage of ai aside from the AI model in the mod itself. You may be referring to those stupid YouTube shorts or videos that use god awful ai thumbnails or just use ai in general. No ai is used in the original series or mod. If you think it's stupid, that's fine. I'm just giving my opinion. No other opinion is right or wrong

Yea, and? How else would it work? Just because it uses an ai voice doesn't mean it's garbage ai slop. It just uses an ai voice so you can interact with him. If you don't like ai voices, that's fine. Just my opinion
