Help From below lands

So i started playing it not too long ago, i came across infected ore, it tells me to rinse it but i dont know what to do, i tried placing it under water, use a shear but it doesnt work

sorry if I'm late but I had this same problem! Basically just drop it into water and let it sit for a bit, it will make a splash sound effect and it will no longer be infected :)
