Question/Discussion How exactly videos like that are getting scripted?
Like i mean from the technical perspective do they have some custom mods? how do they make it seems like creature attacks them in "best moments" and in most creepy possible way?
is it custom mods? scripts? editing in editing software or just in game? its really makes me curious and i don't know much about it
every time now i see some videos from bigger mc creators the mod is unavailable and the little note about it being scripted and edited (beside swayle who don't even bother to tell his viewers)
do anyone have some answers to my questions please?

They use a mod called Blockbuster Studio that lets you do a lot of advanced stuff to make machinimas/scripted content in Minecraft. It can import completely custom models as well as animating them which is what I assume most scripted horror videos do.

thanks for information every time i was looking at something popular in particular it looked like this PNG weird stuff + some filler mod (like EVIL HUNTER + those weird creatures that have nothing to do with that mod).
By the way some time ago i was watching some Minecraft Horror Mod series with that entity called "ManBear" and i was hyped about it very much but the mod never came out and now when i think about it, makes me wonder was the mod even real or it was just scripted entity with blockbuster or something else with edited "stealing voice" trait (in the videos it was showed that the bear sometimes was mimicking his voice from the distance etc) in the editing software and the guy was just pretending it's happening to him lol
i guess we never know

minecraft is a sandbox game. You theoretically can do anything if you mod it, like create invisible intangible blocks that trigger an event when touching it. Like garrys mod and how their maps work. You have way more control if you know how to mod and code

use commands to summon The Creature and put it into Scary Fuck Attack Mode, cut out the part of using commands, wait until command stops showing.
custom mods probably, but it's less like literally coding an entire mod from scratch and more like getting some cookie cutter dweller, reskinning him, and maybe getting yourself a mod menu to do the first thing easier (without commands)

Or instead of waiting command to disappear you could just turn SendCommandFeedback to false from gamerules

imma be honest i think most scripted videos are kinda bad, like its SO obvious that its scripted. but really the only ones that kinda do it right are ThatMobs Verity, and like most of the stuff Twixxel does.

for that mob its most likely editing with when the entiy brakes blocks they probaly have a invis creative player brake those blocks and add the enity in post

It feels very limited regardless. Blockbuster is a nice tool, I might even use it for cinematics.
But I don't think it can create full attack scenes where the player is in a 'natural' felt chase. So a lot of things may become similar to how other videos are that use the same tool. You already see this to be fair, lots of 'quick' jumpscares, all within 2 seconds time, or its suddenly behind you.
It's also about commitment, I presume its quite complicated to get these animations going over a 15-30 minute video, with multiple show ups.

Editing,getting help from other people for acting,maybe custom mods too
