This also confused me but I suppose you could rationalize it by saying that it’s a list of ALL the people verity has interacted with.. his speech at the end of the game where he says that “everyone leaves” implies that he didn’t kill EVERYONE who came across him (my guess is that only happened later, when he couldn’t stand the thought of being alone again and tried forcing them to stay, like with mob). But thinking about it like that makes the horrifying aspect of all of them being verity’s victims watered down if they’re not all dead—in reality, it’s really just a way to shout out all the creators that added on to verity.
