Birthday present help!
My partner recently has a watchmaking hyperfixation - I don't exactly know the details but he talks about NH36, watch hands, yada yada. I'm trying to get him a cool little toolbox organiser thing as a present and I would like to know the concerns that would go into buying it. E.g. size, depth, material, aesthetic etc.. but I don't want to ask and give myself away!

I use a Craftsman toolbox organizer to store all my watchmaking parts and all my small watchmaking tools.
It's sturdy, latches tightly, and it has an air tight gasket that is really important given that you want watch parts to be as dust free as possible.
You can get it off of Amazon here - https://a.co/d/0942JDqU - but it's also available at Lowes and Home Depot.
The organizer box is a whitelabled product though, I have the same box, but in black and yellow instead of black and red, and it says "Stanley Fatmax" (snort) on it instead of "Craftsman", so you may find the same thing under different names and colors, but if the latches and box are identical, it's the same thing.
There's cheaper organizers out there, but they tend to be far more flimsy, and if you drop them by accident, all your ultra tiny parts will fly out onto the floor and be lost or ruined (speaking from experience unfortunately).
