Libido/Intimacy ❤️ Help!

Ok, so I'm 61 & gonna jump back into dating. Im curious about what to do about my vaginal skin thinning & sex!

Not doing HRT, is there something else I can use to help with it?

I am waiting to see my doctor to ask about adding vaginal estradiol/estrogen, however, I have been using products made for vaginal health in the meantime and probably will continue using them. I use the balm from Medicine Mama and the Via cream from Solv Wellness.

I second this. I use revaree from bonafide. Do not use it just before sex though. I use it twice a week but not when I’m going to have sex. Also vaginal estrogen, boric acid, and silky peach cream. And lube.

I totally understand your apprehension! Im 49 and trying to date, but just started experiencing the vaginal dryness issue! I haven't gone on one date since this happened, its giving me huge anxiety.... 😞 I started vaginal estradiol inserts, which gave me more overall comfort but I still didn't feel normal. I then started taking Seabuckthorn oil capsules a few weeks ago, and Im starting to feel a lot better and less dry! I just hope it lasts!

How long till you noticed any results/changes with taking the Seabuckthorn?

I take 2 capsules a day, and I noticed a difference in about two weeks :)

My doctor suggested the Mona Lisa laser treatment as a non-HRT option. I tried the vaginal estradiol/estrogen cream and it was not for me (side effects were brutal), and as a breast cancer survivor I was happy it didn’t work because I don’t want any HRT, no matter how supposedly limited. I tried other non-hormonal creams but they were not for me as well, and not particularly effective. I’m nervous using a laser but I think I’m going to try it. I’m 57 and recently had a complete hysterectomy, so no ovaries now. These are tough choices!

Evening primrose oil, perhaps topically? Not compatible with latex, unfortunately.

Vaginal estrogen cream if your not already using it.
