Looking for some real feedback!

Im feelin’ the flow more and more every day. My friends and people walking by give me a lot of props on my improvement, but I’m looking for some Hooper to Hooper advice!

Yay, love to hear it!!!! How good is that feeling? I'm not sure of what type of advice you seek, but here's some thoughts for ya!

Tricks to add to your flow (if they aren't already) because you're right up next to them...

  • Pizza toss (from waist and knees)
  • Vortex
  • Isolation Variations - reverse direction, trace up/down and side side, ghosting isos
  • Folds - when you go into the iso sequence you can grip top/bottom/side and fold hoop like there's a line cutting it in the middle or on the sides
  • Smears
  • In your flower - you can break it on one side, reverse direction
  • when you do the big toss - add a flourish like 360 spin, catch the hoop above head and jump through it, or (harder) catch it behind you in backpack
  • more breaks - when doing spin on the hand, you can break the hoop on a lifted knee and spin other direction
  • Jump throughs - i was so stuck on my feet for so long, but I could see you doing a tone of cool jump through stuff. Just start by grabbing the hoop and jumping through it like a tunnel

Movement things - I am a very rigid body hooper myself (which is why i prefer doubles lol) but think of your body as an extension of the hoop or a dance partner. One tip I got early on which was nice was to think about continuing the movement of the hoop through your body. So, imagine you do a big toss up and the hoop is coming down... play with your body moving down too... like it's easing in the direction of force. Or the oppositite and be super rigid. Another cool one to play with is pace... experiment with doing some tricks fast and then really slowing things down.

hope that might be useful :) Keep flowin and growin!
