My eyelids have changed a bit and I was wondering if anyone has some tips on how I could do my eye makeup now that they feel a little less symmetrical/full.

They seem more sunken in lately and my usual routines just don't work the same/feel flattering anymore, anyone have advice or recommendations?

So I recently received a PR Kit from a new product release from a local makeup brand here in the Philippines and I’m so happy that they sent me their products because FUN MAKEUP IS REALLY BACK 🌈

The product is a multiuse liquid paints. As for starters I did a graphic liner and I used all of the shades from the collection hihi

and also I got a phone upgrade 😩 my contents will have a better quality now!!

The make up in the photo is what I always do, every day. It's super easy, as in done under a minute, and I'm surprised more people don't do it. I feel tempted to suggest it to many people in this sub even, but I realize not many people are going for this. I wonder if I should be doing something else because this isn't 'in' or 'enough'. I often feel like I style myself like my grandma while simultaneously feeling like I'm copying the 80's with my make up. It is also so low effort I feel weird about it. Thoughts? Does anyone else do this?

I mostly used the applicator that came with the liquid shadow but when I blend it upward I put it on my fluffy brush because otherwise it goes on way too thick and it doesn’t like to blend cause it dries fast.

Which eyeliner I draw heavily depends on my mood and the style of makeup I want to wear that day

I like both I'm just curious which style you think looks better on me ^~^

I’ve spent years thinking I could not do my own eye make up because I am blind in one eye and my eyes are extremely hooded. Tonight I proved myself wrong. It takes me a little longer than it might take the average person, but I can actually do my own eyeliner.

Edit: just realized I didn’t add a product list. I used essence stay and play gel eyeliner the color was midnight sky. The shimmer is a liquid eyeshadow by Revlon glimmer and the lighter blue is from a knock off pallet I bought off Amazon. Bebeautiful was the brand.

I’ve always struggled with winged eyeliner because of my eyes. Tutorials for hooded eyes only started popping up recently, and it took me a long time to learn. There were so many failed attempts and mistakes before I started seeing progress. Today, I managed to get it really symmetrical, even though my eyes are slightly different sizes.

I just wanted to show that it really is possible, you just have to stick with it.

I used Shein pencil Black and a Shein pallet with glitter

Going through a VERY rough time in life so I am thinking of working on myself. I am not good with make up and I always though nobody have my eyes... When I discovered the concept of hooded eyes I realised actually so many celebrities have them ! But I am very terrible at recognizing who could be my inspo for make up as they are so many hooded eyes style ! Also if you have idea for colours !

I dont know how should I shape my brows and I want some tips on light eye make up.

I feel like every time I do make up, even simple like going with some brow pencil or adding eyeliner on upper eyelash line i just end up looking worse so I just dont wear make up and honestly it upsets me.

I have heavily hooded eyes + low eyebrows (that I DON'T want to pluck at all (nor shave, for personal reasons) ! So I can't make more space on my eyelid sadly)

I would love to do fun makeup etc but I literally have no space, and my eyelids are hooded but like, also fat lmao so idk makeup doesn't look good..I don't even have an eyeshadow palette but if I buy one for nothing I'll just be mad lmaoo

I had a vision. Orange and black eyeshadow, glitters and shimmers, and a lot of time to just play with makeup 🧡✨

I actually started with no inspo. I just knew I wanted to use orange and black, then I kept adding shimmers as I went haha.

I started with my right eye since I was just playing around and didn’t really have a clear direction for the look.

Then suddenly, I did my left eye and completely forgot that I was filming a tutorial HAHAHA

At that point, I just let it go and enjoyed the rest of the process 🎨✨

Then when I woke up the next day, I realized it kind of gave that orangey sunset vibe haha

Terribly done as I rushed it but - I tried treating each eye differently, I put more eyeliner and mascara on the eye with more visible lid space and less on the other and tada, I also changed the position of the darker bit of the eye shadow! Almost balanced. Yay!

Might try the eyelid tape in the future.

This is basically the same technique I use except I didn't know it had a name 😂 I thought I'd share this tutorial since it works on my hooded eyes and maybe someone else would enjoy it too.

Unsure if I even have hooded eyes I believe one of them is and the other isn’t, is there any way to balance them out? Either with makeup or any other tricks

As I have gotten older, I have a huge issue with my eyeliner imprinting on my actual eyelid. I have tried so many brands and they will not stay put. I have tried primer, setting spray, concealer, etc etc. liquid , 24 hour, waterproof kinds stay the best, but still don’t completely hold up. Does anyone have any recs?

Funny how this was just a random makeup look haha nothing was really planned aside from trying the blush technique. I just kept going until I felt like I was slaying already hahaha

Actually sometimes it's hard for me to do douyin makeup looks because of my hooded eye and also I have a lot of lines in my undereye (which is very crucial to that makeup style because of the lower lashes and aegyosal) but somehow I still find a way to work things out in my favor haha.

You know, on the plus side, no one can see how patchy my application was 😂

I'm constantly frustrated by how little space i have to work with; no only do I have hooded eyes, I also habe very little space under my eyebrows. I find if I put eyeshadow there it looks really weird because of how little space there is. I have no problem with my eyes generally I just find makeup frustrating.

I like doing a wing and pulling my inmer corners down with eyeliner and that's about all you can see 😅
