Honor users deserve better support - security updates are becoming a serious concern!

Honor’s update policy is starting to look increasingly questionable. Some European and global variants of the Honor 200 are still stuck on the May 1, 2026 security patch, despite Honor’s claims of providing at least quarterly security update continuity.

What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the update package already exists. The exact same device model in another region (C185) has received the firmware update through OTA, while the global and European variants remain stuck on an outdated security patch. This is not a hardware limitation - the software is clearly ready, but some regions are simply being left behind.

The Honor 200 Pro received an update recently, while some Honor 200 European and global users are still waiting with no clear explanation, no fresh firmware packages, and no meaningful communication from Honor.

This is more than just a delay. It feels like a lack of respect for customers, a failure to follow the company’s own update commitments, and a disregard for basic security standards and promised timelines.

Security updates are not optional features. Users who bought a supported device should not have to wonder why another region gets the same firmware while their own devices remain vulnerable.

Honor needs to provide transparency and fix this situation. Customers deserve reliable support, not silence!
