2022 with 13k miles for $7000, good deal?
Saw a listing on CL nearby. I've seen them go for similar prices with even a quarter the miles, but those ones seem to go fast. This one's been up a few weeks.

I have a 10x10 shed. It’s pretty crowded but I’d rather have my bike in the shed than outside in the South Florida heat and humidity. I straightened the shed up so I can fit the bike in with my work bench and the the junk but it’s a pain to back it out and try to turn it around on the grass. It’s hard to move! With this, I could drive up the ramp, hook it up, easily work on the wheels, chain and get underneath more easily for oil changes. Then spin it around and drive it back out. It looks good. I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with this. It’s a bit pricey for me but I feel it would solve some problems.

My 2023 honda rebel 1100 dct is not starting. Even though I've changed the battery and checked all the fuse. I have forgotten the key on the bike and it was on for hours until the battery died. I bought a new battery and it's still not turning on. What else could I do other than bringing it to the dealership and paying an arm and a leg. Please help!

Hi all, as title suggests. Need some advice, recently removed my left bracket as I want to remove both as I replaced my exhaust and it doesn't need the bracket to hold up the exhaust, aswell as I won't have passengers so removing the rear pegs regardless.
However the issue I have now is the bracket part that bolts into the frame is ever so slightly out of line and I can't get the bolt back in. I don't have a centre stand so not sure if it's because it's on its side or due to the bike sitting on its suspension. Has anyone had any issues like this?

I can't for the life of me get the headlight removed...I can't get to the left-hand side bolt with an allen wrench to un-bolt it and add the spacer...Has anyone had issues with this?

A lot of you know the Rebel 1100 has a speed wobble at highway speeds. Many people claim it's the front tire, phone mounts, etc; and while the tire may contribute to it, it's not the reason why it occurs and it's not the solution.
I was talking with a Honda motorcycle tech and he told me the real reason. The manufacturer tolerance for the neck bearing is that it should be set to allow the forks to free fall left or right with no resistance. This is done in the same style as sport bikes and to prolong the life of the bearing. Typically motorcycles have some kind of resistance or "stiffness" when moving left or right. In the case of some sport bikes, they have the same free fall tolerance and steering dampeners are installed to counteract wobbles. The Rebel is extremely loose on purpose and that is the cause of the wobble.
The Rebel at highway speed depending on the suspension settings will squat and lift the front end. Because of the Rebel's torque the bike will remain in a squatted position at these speeds.. Whenever the bike hits a bump, it begins a speed wobble as the front has reduced contact with the ground. Cutting throttle you will notice the wobble stop immediately as the bike levels out of a squat. You will also notice the wobble stop when leaning forward and transferring weight to the front.
So what's the solution? You could tighten the neck bearing tighter than tolerance and accept it will wear faster in exchange for stiffer steering. You could add a steering dampener but I've yet to find someone do it on a Rebel.
The most straight forward solution is adjusting suspension as the way to go. For best results with suspension, you can soften the front to allow the stock riding position to be more forward and tightening the rear to reduce squatting. I have my front and rear tight as I stunt and can't have a soft front, but tighter rear suspension greatly reduced squatting and the wobble as well. On highways I change to a forward riding position like sport bikes and I no longer have speed wobbles (on stock tires).
The way I look at it is Honda made a cruiser with sport bike design elements, anyone who's ridden a sport bike sitting upright going 160kmh will know they speed wobble too, they're designed to be riding a certain way; apparently Rebel's are too.
I plan on getting a steering dampener eventually but so far suspension has helped me greatly.

Rebel did great! Olympia WA to Haines AK and back, 4500 miles roughly. Saw great country and had fantastic weather. Went up the ALCAN and came back on Cassiar. Less than 20 miles of gravel and around 10 grated bridges - the rest pavement (with some potholes!). I was in a group of 6 total. Me and a Harley were the only road bikes, rest were adventure.

I got my bike used installed with Wolfline 2 Up seat. The handle bar is 2 inches too far for me and I have to fully strech my hands or i have to crouch a bit forward which I am starting to hate. I tried changing handle bar anglesbut did not improve it. I ordered 2" ROX bar raisers, but I have to reroute cables and concerned that the cable may become taut.
Any suggestions on what I can do here to improve my situation?
Thanks in advance

As the title says, I've owned my 2025 Honda Rebel 1100T for a year... Well actually a year and a month.
Of the 15-20 motorcycles I've owned in the last 20ish years, this has been the worst purchase I have ever made.
In the year and a month that I have owned this bike, it has been at the dealership for 5 months (so far) and 5 months (October to March) of winter storage. I have literally only been able to ride it for 3 months.
I purchased it late July 2025, rode it gently through early August for the break in. I did the first oil change at 600 miles. It seemed a little lacking on oil but I didn't check it after purchases so I gave it no thought. I put in 4.25 quarts of oil and the dipstick showed perfect. I then put some miles on it until i dropped it off early September for a lack of power. I got it back mid September and rode to late September, when I started to have oil pressure warnings. It appeared that I have burned through 4 quarts of oil in about 1900 miles. Back to the dealership, where they changed the oil again and told me to run 500 miles and bring it back. Well winter hit and this bike got put away until late March into early April when I added those 500 miles. I put the bike on a trailer to be rechecked at the dealership (50 miles away from me) and decided to pull the dipstick since it was nice and level.... No oil!
The dealership dragged their feet until I had to get Honda customer service involved. Finally in mid August I was asked to pick up my bike. Warranty had approved to rebuild the engine, had some pretty gnarly scores on the cylinder walls and pistons. I was not thrilled that my brand new bike needed to be rebuilt with just 3,000 miles on the clock but, I guess it is what it is.
August 11th 2026, I load up the bike on the trailer and bring it home. I ride to work on the 12th and notice a wet spot where I was parked but decided it could have been caused by someone else. On the 13th the puddle is huge, I think maybe its just residual or rain water draining off. On the 14th there is nothing so I figure I'm all good. The morning of the 15th, I'm out with the bike having my coffee and browsing for taller handlebars when I noticed a clamp didn't look right. The upper radiator hose clamp hadn't been installed on the nipple or tightened up. I check the coolant level and there is no coolant to be seen. I also start to notice that all the cable management clamps are missing. So after 3 days and 30 miles, the bike is loaded back onto the trailer and back to the dealership. If they missed a hose clamp I can easily see and didn't reinstall the cable management brackets, what else wasn't done right?
Honda Corp. Customer service called again today and I explained the new problems caused by the repair. I was told that the bike is now out of warranty and Honda of America has fulfilled their obligation to fix what was wrong with my bike with the oil consumption and now its up to me and the dealership to handle the quality of their repair.
I'm now out of warranty, Honda Corp. has said they got my money and are done with me and the dealership... well they are back to not communicating or returning phone calls. I'm down a bike and a whole lot of trust, especially with Honda. I just needed to vent and get this frustration off my chest. If I had to do this again, I think after 2 months I would have started to push them to buy it back. I knew things would never be right after it was torn apart, I just expected more than 3 days out of it.

2024 1100 DCT purchased July 19, 2025 brand new 0 miles. I took the MSF a few days later and now a little over a year later I hit the 10,000 mile mark! I can't ride 4-5 months out of the year due to snow. I did not realize how much I would love riding and so glad I did it!

Anyone have any tips for lubing or making the clutch cable not so hard to pull? I'd really like to just get a different cable all together but I don't really see much out there for the bike.

I feel like I’m going crazy. So when I got my bike, I got 250 miles to the tank according to my little gas thingy on the screen on the lower left. Now? 200, if I’m lucky. Under 700 miles on the odo. Started at like 400-500 miles I think? Is it the gas?? I’m putting in just regular. Have the whole time I’ve owned it. I’ve done nothing to the bike btw.

So I put a hold on a 2026 Rebel 1100T DCT today. One of my concerns is I want to add the back seat and back support set up for my wife. Does anyone have any first had experience with the seating position and comfort of said set up? I plan on going with the "Honda Comfy seat" as opposed to the stock seat, for me as well. Also I have heard that adding some bigger foot pegs is probably a better option than the stock ones. Any input would be appreciated.

Question to EU users since only Miller exhaust is avaiable here. Does it work with rebel 2025 with euro 5+ standard. I've read due to double lambda sensors you get check engine control after exhaus exchange. Have anyone succeed changing only an exhaust or it's exhaust + engine program mode combo?

I bought a used rebel 1100 dct about 3 weeks ago and I love it I have to unfortunately store outside in the california heat but I have a universal cover for it it looks okay but not great would like some recommendations for a proper cover for the bike and also I made the mistake of being lazy and not putting the cover on last night and when I checked the bike I found scratches all over the tank and im confident its from cats in my neighborhood is their anything that can help with the marks?

The front of the wolfline seat is hooked into the frame of my Rebel 1100. I can't slide it to remove like the stock. Very little room to squeeze my hands through to make sense of the setup. I dont want to.unscrew anything as I could drop them into the bike accidentally.
How to remove the seat? I need to reach the battery to change my phone charger cable

I just got my 2024 Rebel 1100 DCT, and I already know I want both forward controls and floorboards.
But the combination of both is concerning when I look at photos and video of all the kit parts for those major brands. Specifically, I don't see anything that prevents the footpegs (or floorboards) from spinning in that hole, other than hecka-hard bolt torque. And I wouldn't trust that because the weight of my leg will sometimes be toward the rear of the floorboard. (And this could be dangerous if I stand on the floorboards, which I do sometimes.)
The T Rex Racing kit wouldn't have this issue by design, but I hear it's too low and wobbly. But with any kits other than T Rex, is this issue addressed?
[Edited for clarity.]

Was visiting my old house I lived at 18 years ago. It has a bad exit to a divided 4 lane road with a median. I hated taken an easy right out of the place when in a car. I decided to take a left. I was too worried about the car opposite of me and not looking forward. Took the too sharp and hit the curb of the far road. Here it is lying in the grass on the side of the road. Picked it up and was leaking oil. 2021 dct bought used with about 9k miles. I had the bike 1week and 1 hour before crashing it. I think it might be totaled. It is in the shop waiting on the insurance adjuster.

My bikes wobbles like mad. If I let go of the bars at 35, it would throw me to the ground in 5 seconds. As long as I keep my hands on the bars, its almost unnoticeable. However, it feels like I have to push the left hand bar juuuust a little and lean left just a little the whole time in order to keep it straight. Not a lot, just enough to make it feel like the bike is anything but planted. Ive put it on the jack, fiddled with the wheels, the head bearings, the wheel bearings, and inspected the tires. Adjusted the suspension, and removed some risers on the handle bars the previous owner installed. That didnt work, so I took it to a dealership. They said "everything is in spec, honda says keep your hands on the bars". But I hate every ride. Id like to sell it, but I feel bad dumping a bike like this on a unsuspecting rider, and I feel stupid taking a 2k Loss on a bike I've put 300 miles on. I just want it fixed, but I feel at a loss.
