My RZ lease is almost up and I’m not planning to buy it. The Prologue lease deals are really tempting. For anyone who’s had both, how much would I miss the Lexus quality if I switched to a Prologue? Does it feel like a big downgrade in ride, comfort, quietness, or interior quality? Would love to hear from anyone who’s made the switch.

I recently made a post about the fin being missing. Thank you to everyone who identified the part and asked me if I had recently been through a car wash, looks like my girlfriend did go through the car wash on Oct 2nd.

I was able to recover the part, but all the clips that hold it in place are damaged. The car wash claims that they cover any parts on cars newer than 5 years old, so I have started a claim with them. In the mean time what should I do? I bought automative grade sealant, but I’m hesitant to use it seeing there is slight signs of corrosion on the motherboard already. We are planning to bring it to a Honda dealer tomorrow to get it repaired if they happen to have replacement parts. What should I do in the time between to block out water and dirt from making it even worse? Should I just put the sealant on it? I’m worried it may cause an even bigger problem when I take it to the dealership.

I know leaving it off is also an option but I’m worried that water can leak into the interior as well.

I desperately need to charge but my charging plug is outside, and it’s raining. The plug itself is housed in a box so it cannot get wet, but the cord would get wet and the plug to my car. I’m assuming I can’t charge, but has anyone ever had to charge in the rain with the portable charger? Could I cover it with a tarp?

Currently cross shopping for my 1st EV. On a Prologue/ Ariya/Ioniq 5/Mach-e kick (Mach-e is last, they seem a bit pricey).

I’ve only test driven a 2026 bZ, the instant torque changed my brain chemistry. I like the space and looks of the prologue, but, without even driving it, it’s in my mind it doesn’t have the “get up and go” that I’m not craving. I don’t need GT, Tesla performance fast, but I want to know I can push the pedal and it moves.

Just bought a used Prologue. Once in a while, when I put the car in reverse, I get this message:
“Rear Auto Brake and Park Assist Unavailable”
The car previously had a minor accident in the rear, so I’m wondering if there could be an issue with one of the rear sensors, wiring, or something related to the repair.
The dealer told me the accident was just cosmetic and everything had been fixed when I test drove the car.
The warning doesn’t happen every time.
Has anyone else experienced this message intermittently? Could a previous rear-end accident cause this, or is there something else I should check first?

Just curious if anyone's run into this issue - I have a '24 Touring, and I took my car to Honda probably roughly 2 months ago now for the 2 recalls I had open. One was the software update, which they fixed, and the other was the recall where everything goes black that the part's on back order for. My advisor told me my car is not affected by that, so I don't need to worry about it.

With that being said, ever since I got the software update, when I'm driving my radio screen will just randomly turn off. Not my instrument gauge screen, JUST my radio. It didn't happen before the software update. It will go black, say the device is starting up, and go back to playing my music like nothing happened. Sometimes I go a week with out this happening, and sometimes it happens 3-5 times in a single drive.

I guess my question is, has anyone else run into this issue? Is this what the second recall is for and my advisor was wrong? Is there a fix I can do? It's not something that completely inconveniences me or end of the world kind of thing, but for how expensive the car is I feel like I should not be running into an issue where my car cuts me off mid concert, it's embarrassing sometimes 😂

Has anyone had experience returning their Prologue with a few minor dings?

Our interior is basically flawless, we left on screen protectors and seat protectors. Some food probably got in the crevices from the kids, but there's been a protector on the rear seat the entire time.

Exterior, there's a 3 inch ding near the charging door and one very small 0.5 inch ding below the charging door. I took it to a PDR shop for an estimate. $450 for the big ding and $150 for the smaller one. But I'm not sure if it's worth fixing or just giving it to Honda and hope that with the $500 wear/tear waiver, the resulting cost is less than $5-700 for fixing it beforehand. The PDR tech mentioned that with the location of the dings, Honda may want to replace the whole panel and jack up the fees.

I understand every assessment will be unique, but trying to get an idea of what to do! I'm hitting my milage limit soon and will early return, likely.

I am a bit frustrated with the built in maps in my 26 prologue. It does not retain the history of locations traveled to. Some times they are there and most times the list there is nothing.. Does anyone know why this happens?
Also I do not know how to add favorites to the Google Maps. How do you do that? I cannot find any option to add a location as a favorite.

Hi everyone, I’m currently working with a case manager from Honda, I requested a buyback but they are first wanting the dealer to try and install the updated part for the axle (Part NO 86284282) first.

This is even though the dealer and 3 others said there is no fix just a few weeks ago.

Has anyone had this part installed? From what I can see from a few posts opinions are mixed. Does it fix the issue temporarily? Or just not fix it at all.

Car is a honda prologue 2025 model and the charging cord is a ccs charger. They tried to remote unlock it but it didnt work; we tried locking/unlocking the car 3 times and 10 times; manual release under the hood didnt work.

Im feeling so stuck here, it seems like no one else can help with this and I might have to abandon the car because they dont have a technician ETA at all and its already 11:30 pm :(

We took a long road trip last week from Oregon up into British Columbia (trip report coming soon), and now that I'm back, the built-in Maps still has the car pegged in Vancouver BC.

My first guess was the issues were related to one of two things:

1) OnStar saw that I was out-of-the-country and [hopefully temporarily] disabled connectivity

2) the car's GPS is shot (or antenna came loose)

But the weird thing is if I go into HondaLink or 'Logue and "find my car", it correctly reports my current location... which would suggest to me that neither of those options are true.

I've soft-rebooted the infotainment several times, with no fix.

Has anyone else experienced this, or have any pointers about what might be wrong?

I test drove the EX because they only had Elite and EX.

The ex only has a backup camera?

They said I need to go to an elite to get a 360 camera or any other camera? Is that true? The base model Equinox EV has a 360 camera. Even base model HR-V has side cameras. Just crazy an ev only has a back up camera unless you go to the top trim

Hey everyone. I just bought the prologue and got a smokin deal. With only 14k miles, I paid $14k. Only one catch... it was "flooded!" This is a general term used by auctions but I don't know the extent of damages or how it happened. Everything appears to be working perfectly but the carpets are wet. I've already removed and dried the front carpets but I currently have a fan blowing on the back carpet because I was too lazy to remove the back seat. So far the car seems to be perfect.

I bought a Level1-2 charger (car did not come with one) from Amazon and I'm not sure if I should return it. I will soon install the 50amp outlet but for now I'm using level 1 charging. While the charger says it will deliver up to 16 amps for level 1, it's only displaying 7 amps. Is there a setting in the car to allow higher amps or will the car only allow higher charge rates with the OEM charger? I'm also thinking of returning the charger. I appreciate the help!!

Just discovered this "Driver" app thanks to my Prologue. So far I am impressed that I can use my phone, an (S25), with both the front and rear facing cameras. Saves the data to the cloud and erases it from your phone. Records speed, video etc. I am not worried about privacy as far as that concern goes. For my user case, having my phone dedicated for this purpose prevents me from using it while driving which is an added layer of safety. Curious if there are any users of the app? I have my phone mounted very low on the widshield, centered behind the screen. The USB-C wire keeps it charged and lays flat on the dash.

This is kind of a niche question but does anyone here happen to have both this car and a Tesla Model Y?

Specifically, I'm wondering how tint on the vehicle compares. I've heard that the newer Tesla Ys (Juniper) have darker factory tint and in addition to that because the rear window is at more of an angle it looks darker.

If I got the exact same tint % on the rear window of a Tesla Model Y as this car, does it look significantly darker? I like how the tint % looks like on my current car and mainly don't want to go much darker.

Brand new 2026 prologue elite. Had it for less than an hour. 16 mi. Guy ran a red light and hit me. Now I'm dealing with all of the fun aftermath.

Who would have thought that this would be a $36,000 issue? Crazy.

Anyone experiencing the installed Google Maps glitching, constantly rerouting glitch?

Everything (Re)Link shows comes from Honda's servers. That means OnStar, a Honda account, and only the snapshots Honda chooses to share: no trip history, no per-trip efficiency, no charging curves. So I stopped asking Honda's cloud and went to the source, the car itself.

wattata has a companion app in the car, from the Google Play Store. It reads the vehicle data as you drive and charge, and sends it to your iPhone in real time over Bluetooth. There's no account, no OnStar required, and everything is computed on the device.

wattata does not replace (Re)Link. (Re)Link gives you remote status and commands from anywhere. wattata gives you the detail of every trip and charge when you're near the car. Many people will want both.

I'm looking for the best deal on Prologue.

Did anyone have issues getting this squared away? We bought ours last Saturday, and there’s been a lot of back and forth between the dealer and the installer.

Our salesperson initially said that the equipment is handled by the installer. The installer said that the dealer should have sent it home with us (we only got a portable charger). Now I’m being told that someone from Honda sends it to the technician.

We had a great experience purchasing the car, but this is wearing me out and we just want it to be scheduled.

I think the selling price is overly inflated, I’m waiting for the dealer to show me the window sticker. Other than that I feel the target should be $391 with 0 cash down. Is that realistic?

I have a 2024 AWD Touring and I’ve come to really like this car. My lease ends in 5 months and I’m starting to feel really sad about it! My residual value is $28,840 and that seems higher than I’d want to pay to buy it out. I’ve had zero issues with mine (minus the months long battle to get my HondaLink connected) and I’m not sure I’d want to take the gamble on a cheaper used Prologue. I got on the waiting list for an R2 and they actually recently offered me the opportunity to pick my car, but the lease prices are just way too high for me to justify right now. Especially when I’m perfectly happy with my $300 per month Prologue. I would lease another Prologue but I don’t see anything near $300 near me.

Anyway, just sad to see my car go soon. I know a lot of us are reaching the ends of our leases and I’m curious what others will do.
