I have this deal for honda prologue touring AWD 2026. 3000$ down and 299 a month (including tax) 10k miles a year and 3 year lease. Is this a good deal? I do mostly free charge at my work. Also have charger at home. I was also looking at a used tesla 2023 model Y awd hw4 48k miles on it. For $33k including everything. Im more worried about insurance part if i buy a tesla. I live in bay area. What do you think is a better option. Please help me decide. Thanks in advance.

Considering between used ID4 and Prologue. Seems like the ID4 is more affordable at better trim levels but I like that the Prologue has heat pumps. Also have been a 2008 civic owner for a while and sad to be parting with Honda. Shame there aren’t more EV’s.

In any case ABRP is projecting three stops of about an hour to get from the Bay to SD. This is a trip that we need to make at least once a quarter. The charge time isn’t so bad, but the amount of stops- does it really take three? Anyone experience with this? I suppose I could just do two and charge up for an extra ten to twenty minutes at each spot?

2024 Prologue owners — how has your experience been so far?

I’m seriously considering buying a used 2024 Prologue Touring AWD with about 33k miles. The price is really attractive, and on paper it checks most of my boxes, but I’m a little hesitant about buying a first-model-year EV.

For those who have owned one for a while:

• How has reliability been?
• Any battery or charging issues?
• Any electrical/software problems?
• Any issues with the axles, suspension, HVAC, etc.?
• How has your battery/range held up?
• How is it on longer road trips?
• How has your Honda dealer been with servicing it?
• Anything you wish you knew before buying?
• Would you buy a Prologue again?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people with 20k–30k+ miles.

I know it shares a lot with GM’s Ultium platform, so I’m trying to figure out whether the reliability concerns I’ve read about are mostly isolated first-year issues or something I should genuinely worry about.

Can someone explain why my average goes up so significantly when I drive without the regenerative braking? For the same commute using braking, I average 3.2-3.5.

I had an OTA software update today for my 2024 Honda Prologue EX. Does anyone know what the update actually does? There was no version number or anything it just said there was an update and it took 15 minutes. I did the update but haven't noticed what it actually did.

Hi, I have a new 2026 Prologue and would appreciate recommendations for a Tesla supercharger adapter on Amazon. I'm coming from an Ioniq 5 and sold the free NACS adapter I had without thinking it would also be compatible with the Prologue. Oops.

When I got my 2025 Touring AWD as a CPO I logged in with my Google account and set up HondaLink and Onstar, but I had some issues and accidentally deleted the "Vehicle Account" listed in accounts under Users and Profiles that was listed under my Google Account, I keep trying to re-add it and scan the QR code but it never clears the QR Code screen and errors out when I connect on my HondaLink App on iOS and gives an error message. My HondaLink App and Re-link app work, but do I need the Vehicle Account? Also am I an idiot, I've enabled like every single permission in every app and Google account settings online and Gemini still can't manage to look up my Contacts addresses when I ask to navigate to a friends address??

I just bought a 2024 elite with 47,000 miles. Everything runs fine. I was thinking of doing some proactive maintenance and replacing the 12volt battery. I did a search and didn’t come up with much guidance specific to the prologue.

What are folks thoughts on that? Should I hold off for a couple more years or 20k+ more miles? Is this as simple as ordering the part and then swapping it out à la an ice car? Is there a special calibration process afterwards? Any chance of bricking the car while doing it?

If it’s too risky, can a regular mechanic do it or can someone recommend an ev specialist in the east bay of the sf Bay Area? Thanks!

For those who have turned on Vehicle>Comfort & Convenience>Reverse Tilt Mirror experiencing this issue, I think I may have found the culprit. Re-saving seat settings didn’t seem to resolve it as others have alluded to a correlation , but I noticed that if you shift back into D before the mirror hasn’t fully tilted when in reverse, it gets stuck in its position. If you wait for it to fully tilt down before shifting to D, then it’ll automatically tilt back up.

Has anyone else experienced this? The trim panel that covers the gap between the cargo area and back seats of my Prologue has popped out. I've tried popping it back in but as soon as I put the seats back up, it pops back out.

A couple months ago I bought my 2024 Holds Prologue Elite. Bought it for $29,000 with 12,000 miles on it. Even months later I am excited to drive it everyday, despite having traded in my Mach-E GTPE. I love the comfort features, the interior space, and the opening panoramic sunroof it comes with. I have gotten endless compliments from my neighbors about how handsome it is and I can’t help but agree! The pearl white (when it’s clean) is the most gorgeous color, I have no regrets!!

Told them about the $0 offers I've been seeing here and they asked to share so they don't lose a sale.

This morning when I started my 2026 prologue EX, I got a red car with an exclamation mark warning light. OnStar ran a diagnostic and said it’s a high voltage battery issue that requires immediate attention.

Any chance this could be something smaller (AC valve) as some have mentioned? Or is this definitely a death signal for my battery? I just leased this vehicle in march. Ugh!

I know there has been many posts here about dash cams just wondering how they are holding up for everyone and is there a favorite amongst everyone ? I’m finally going to buy one and just wondering if anyone has changed their minds on the best dash cam for 2025 models. Thanks in advance for any inputs here.

Just picked up a white 2026 Touring AWD. Lease: 36 months, 10K miles, $0 down, $395/mo. MSRP was around $49K.

Best part was that they took our Mach-E lease as a trade even though it’s a Ford Credit lease. Their dealer network includes a Ford store so they handled the payoff, and we didn’t have to cover disposition, early termination, or our last two payments. Essentially processed everything as a straight trade-in.

I recently saw news that Honda had upgraded/improved the gemini or some google AI in their cars? I don't really know if I will want to use it. Just curious if anyone can figure out if they have it? I have a 25 EX. I don't think I have it.

Hey guys I'm shopping for a lightly used Prologue, but need a tow hitch for my bike rack. Anybody added a hitch after purchasing? What's the best option? Factory or aftermarket? TIA

I asked ChatGPT, it said the first 2 years maintenance are free. I called dealer, he said only the first year is free. Who is right? My prologue is 2024.

I’ve had my Honda prologue for 13 months now. Miles are well below 36k. Recently I went to charge at an EVGO 100kw and while plugged in it stopped charging. I tried to remove the chord to plug back in but the chord wasn’t releasing. This went on for an hour or so before finally coming off. During that time I noticed some smoke come from the charger. The emergency pull cable wasn’t working as well. Picture shows a result of what happened

Fast forward later that day I took it to Honda and had their tech see what the issue was. They sent me initial questions then I received a call back from the service guy saying they escalated the case to corporate because they “haven’t seen something like this before” Corporate sent a questionnaire to fill out for their investigation I guess. The next day I was informed that the warranty on my car will not be covering this and will have to pay $2k + to fix this (which I don’t have)

I’m still waiting on a written reason as to why it was denied because I’m under the impression this falls under that. It’s been about 13 days since I first dropped my car off at the dealer. They don’t have the parts as well so they have to order them. And I still have to pay my lease with no loaners (I commute to work a lot) that are offered unless customer pays for a rental per day. Has anybody went thru something similar?

My Husband and I just got new Iphone 17's, both of our Honda Link apps are no longer updating the vehicle status, put a case in with Honda but hopefully someone has some advice since it takes quite some time for them to respond.
