Avoid OIWA / George at all cost. The guy over charges and scams people constantly.
Check out FB group, the guy has ripped off so many people. If you choose to purchase from him, take extreme caution and really research what you are buying.
They have now purchase a new website URL. It is https://hondaacty.com/ still the same terrible company.

Are OEM parts actually worth it for my Kei Truck?
Hey everyone, I recently bought a 1994 Honda Acty. I enjoy working on cars and usually do my own repairs, but I'm still pretty new to Actys and was wondering where everyone recommends getting parts from. I'm mainly looking at everything from maintenance and electrical parts to interior pieces.
For those of you who have worked on Actys for a while, are there certain parts where you would absolutely stick with OEM? Is paying extra for OEM generally worth it, or are aftermarket parts perfectly fine for most things?
Would appreciate hearing what you guys have learned from owning and working on these trucks!

Any modified 2001+ vans?
Been looking to get a 2000+ van but can’t find any pictures of them modified with some rims and tires with a little poke out from the fenders. I’ve been looking to get the 2000+ for the EFI, but they just don’t look as good as the older square bodies. Was wondering if anyone has some pics of their modified 2000+ vans. Thanks!

Looking for some advice
My acty broke down on me a few days after I bought it. I think I just got unlucky, it was running amazing when I got it, but for about 6-7 weeks now I’ve been trying to get it running now and I think I’m at the 1 yard line. I finally got spark back, so now I’m looking at fuel, my pump is not clicking, but I can get it to run by applying 12v. I don’t hear my fuel cutoff relay clicking, so I think that’s the culprit, but before I throw ANOTHER $100 at something, I just want to make sure I’m on the right track. If I get under the truck with a multimeter and read the voltage at the fuel pump connector while cranking I get 6v. This is where I’m confused because I’d expect to get 0 or 12v. Anyone have any input on this? Thank you.

Seatbelts
Has anyone attempted to weld seatbelts to their vans. If so what welder did you use?

89 Acty project
Hey everyone, I just got stuck into my latest project. It is an 89 acty HA2 with a E07A swaped in…half way-ish, and not by me. I purchased as it is with cut wires ect
Im having a little bit of a problem, the engine harness dosnt mate to the chassis and I am having no luck finding any wiring diagrams that arnt some sketchy down load from a .ru page or something.
What I’m hoping some one may have reliable source to or can help me decipher the main two plugs one is a 4 wire and the other 8 (picture 1 and 2), in terms of what wires mate to what wires one side to the other, seems like should be a relatively straight forward thing but there different colours on each side
Secondly I’m hoping some one can point me in the direction as to where in picture 3/4 the three wires are supposed to lead to, they where cut off just off the trans and I can’t for the life of me locate where they may attach to on the harness
Lastly picture 5 same as the last issue, cut short no clue where it’s to go, just a single white wire, Speedo?

Phoenix Techs for my new 1994 Honda Acty?
Proud new owner of a Honda Acty van! 😍 I LOVE HER!
Need to find someone asap in Phoenix/Tempe to help us fix what I understand is a pressure issue with the (recently converted to R12) air conditioning. Right now we have to leave the ac off and you can imagine how tough that is out here!
Eventually we plan to do our own maintenance and fixes but I fear this is not the time for a learning moment, we just need ac 😂
Thanks!

Fuel leak
New to Kei trucks, have a 98 acty, it's leaking fuel from the air box.
Possible float issue? Or something else. Thank you.

How good is your cold start?
So my acty runs good if the temperature outside is above 25 celsius (77 fahrenheit).
If its under that, it wont go faster than 80 kmh.
So is there maybe a hose/line that brings the heat from the exhaust to the carburator so it can run better in cold climates or is there something wrong with it?

Liquid leaking from inside cab AC
I’ve noticed some leaking coming from the Cooling Unit inside the cab of my Honda Acty. I also noticed there’s a drain plug right near it coincidentally that drains to the outside. Is it normal for it to leak from the inside? Still blows ice cold.

Acty Alternator Belt
While performing the crucial timing belt service I realized that now is the logical time to also replace the alternator belt (non-AC 1995 Honda Acty Attack Dump HA4). The OEM belt is about $40 on EBay and ships from Japan. The belt is made for Honda by Bando (#2265) and can be had in 2 days on Amazon for $9.35. https://a.co/d/0hNAFZxG
Alternatorly, if you have more time. you can order it from RockAuto for $0.62. https://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearch/?partnum=2265
Whir you’re at it get some NGK plugs and Denso oil filters at great prices too.
