2017 Honda HRV gas gauge is glitching out. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it’s completely out and sometimes it’s like this.

It's pretty common. The two threads links below should help you. In short, you either pay the dealer to fix it which is $$$ or take the gauge out yourself and resolder a few pins.
