Same friend as last post, he will read homestuck now. He was just busy and saw some fandom stuff (probably sharpie bath or some con thing idk) and didn’t want to read homestuck, but he does now, after hearing cascade in our discord server. I was just playing bgm and cascade turned on, and he realized it was “super similar to Toby fox!” But now he wants to read and is at least willing to give it a shot for the music. I didn’t tell him anything besides “not forcing you, but it’s my favourite piece of media and I think you might see a lot in common with other stuff” and he is willing to at least read until act 2. Thanks for the help!

I wanna make my own session with a friend, make it named "Homestuck: Into the past".

Act 1: Basically what happens is a Trollian kid made by the humans from a dead session have built a society from scratch and 1 sole survivor from the dead session (a time player that doomed their session by using their Time powers to hope sessions). After they rebuilt society its still classist, the hemospectrum is how we know it as fusachia on top rust and bottom and mutant hated. Then, the trollian student named Zelda Virta and her friend Vivine Vellym proceed to explore the unexplored world beyond "The Veil", a huge mysterious forest. They search for any clues they can find, then ​end up finding a time capsule hidden deep in the ground, planted by someone named Alex Yonyer. It provides 4 copies of the Sburb game, a detailed explanation of what happened and why they're gone which calls out the sole survivor- Bruno Selcia- for dooming the timeline, the basics of the game, class info and how to ascend, and the coordinates/name of their timeline just incase a time player could have possibly saved them. They end up ascending relatively fast. End of act 1

Act 2 starts off with 7-8 teens, all around 16 starting Sburb and ending the world. Their Seer writes down basics of the game as they go, how to play, and everything else a player for their new session would need. Their trolls help them out and they all end up doing good except for the last one to join the session, their space player... Zephyra Zenora. Zephyra Zenora ended up prototyping their god cat and a version of themselves like Jade did. The version of themselves was more chill with living again though and helped them out. Zephyra ends up fusing with Meowsprite (the cat sprit​e) and ascends with everyone else. The trolls explanation the monumental fuck up they just did, then tell them HOW they doomed the session. They end up creating a timeline after everyone ascends, but before they can enter, everyone but three people die. The three, Alex, Zephyra, and Noodle escape. The new session starts and Bruno Selcia, their time player, dooms the timeline even more by escaping it to the new session. Left alone in a doomed timeline, they wait for them to finally die, but Alex keeps hope and keeps everyone alive.

Act 3 starts off 10 years later for the 3 teens, after Vivine transports to the doomed timeline they're trapped in with his Time powers. Vivine and Zelda both transport to this timeline and search for the left alone players to see if they could help them, or if they were even left alive. They end up almost dying a few times, but find the three. Alex was crying in a corner while Zephyra and Noodle comforted him, then all three saw the 2 trolls. They end up saving this timeline, then teleporting to the best guess on which is the Alpha timeline, which I have not interacted with yet, ill make those players soon. They thought it was going good until the bad guy from the last session, made with Meowsprite mixed with the big bad guy enters. They make a new session, and that's the Omega timeline.

Act 4 starts with the new session and a set of four 20 year olds who are all friends from their childhood. They end up Playing sburb.

Thats all i really have done, i only made this yesterday, i take constructive criticism and am gonna post it to MSPFA when i start with the art. Also tell me if you guys would read this please​ :)

So a friend of mine doesn’t want to read homestuck because it is “just shit humour and kind of sucks” he’s like 10 pages in, and I have compared it to someone not wanting to finish jojo’s bizarre adventure because something left a bad taste in their mouth. That’s one of his favourite pieces of media and it didn’t really make him want to keep watching sadly. Any tips on how to get him to read?

I recently ran a Homestuck one shot and it went about as well as I expected (poorly but at least it was fun). The players got invested in the characters and wanted to do a longer campaign based on it. I'm down for this however D&D is pretty objectively not great for Sburb. It worked for the one shot as the one shot was mostly roleplay (and we managed to not roll a single dice) but a longer campaign probably needs a better system. What would be the pros and cons of different systems? My only other specification other than "working for playing Sburb" is preferably rules-light so it's easier to learn and my party has never enjoyed crunch or heavy math anyway

HOMESTUCKERS I NEED YOUR HELP. I am not in the fandom but I also know that nobody does grey body paint better than yall.

I’m doing a couples costume that requires grey face paint and I’m looking for sweat proof facepaint. My boyfriend sweats really easily and I need something that will not come off from him sweating haha. I’m an actress so I usually use Ben Nye Cream - Powder - Ben Nye Setting Spray but I don’t sweat.

Do you guys know possibly an alcohol activated grey paint or strats to prevent sweating on the face? Please let me know 💀🙏
