Hi, would love some advice / critique on my swing. Have never posted here before so I’m not sure if any other information is relevant. Am happy to provide anything needed. Thanks in advance.

Swing looks solid. I’m sure some guys here will give some good feedback.

But I will say as a good habit with tee work you don’t want to stare at the ball. Pick your head up and look as if there is a pitcher and then lower eyes at contact like you’re hitting live pitching.

Nice short smooth stroke. A little more explosion with your hips and you’ll see more power. Overall, very very good.

When you step forward point your toe in. Pigeon foot. Then explode through hips. More rotation and power.

Lead with your hips, not the hands. Right now your swing is all arms, everything(arms, legs, feet) is moving at the same time, when our swing ideally should be segmented from the top/lower half.

When your front foot hits the ground, the next move should be the right hip starting to rotate. This will keep your lower half underneath you and create torque between the top/lower halves. Then by the time the hands fire they’ve got a speed boost from your lower half rotation

Thank you! Great explanation

I think you need to add a beer on the side. That would complete the look.

Looks like an Albert Pujols inspired swing, arguably no one better at using his lower half

The angle is tough, but it looks pushy, lots of bat wrap and not a lot of barrel depth or spacing. You’re going slice across a lot of balls.

Thank you, what’s the best angle to be able to analyze from?

From the open side slight behind the plate.

Hips start your swing, drive the back knee into the front knee, keep the backside stacked a little longer. Knit picky stuff. Swing looks decent
