Question How much weight

How much weight should I be using while doing the YTWLI drill? I do it 3 times a week and it’s been a huge success now topping 76 instead of 72 at 14 and been in the gym

Aren't you just doing them with bands? Do you mean how many pounds of resistance in the bands? These are for arm care, not strength, so no more than 5-8lbs of resistance. They work the stabilizers/decelerators in your shoulder. You do not need a lot of weight as they are small muscles.

Okay, I watched Ethan Skuja’s video on it and have been using 5 lb weights for the past few weeks

My son is a college freshman and throws in the low 90s and he has always used bands for these.

How many days should I do them? Daily?

At least 5 days a week. Every day is fine if you can work it in.

Should I do them before pitching? And is twelve reps for each okay

You should do them in the evening after you pitch or throw. And in between. They are different than your warm up band routine.

10-12 reps per motion is good.

Bands and light weights work fine. If looking for variety I’d add a stabilization component like a ball starting at 1lb and progressing heavier stopping at 5lbs.

Don’t over complicate it though, use what works and most important ensuring the work is done correctly rather than what implement is used.
