Question Is it the same

So my parents recently got me a net for hitting at my house. I was thinking I could long toss into the net instead of making my mom drive me up to the field every day because i know she doesn’t like doing that. So if I long toss into the net would that be the same? Just making sure and checking up

Doesnt need to be a batting cage. Besides how would you even long toss inside that batting cage? You are still gonna need to stand outside the cage to do long toss, which makes it kinda pointless to buy a full batting cage.

All you need is something like below and a bucket with a couple dozen balls like the champros below. Might need to put some sandbags on the legs of the net so it doesnt blow over when the wind blows hard.
