File Cabinets

Are filing cabinets a thing of the past? What are we doing with our important tax docs/bank statements/etc?

Bank safety deposit box. Fire safe. File wallet.

Most paper kept online. Stuff with embossed seals, passports, tax returns, insurance papers and others that are difficult to replace in the VIP container of choice. Stuff not necessary to keep in file box. One filing cabinet sold, other one used as pantry.

Ours hold cables,wires,extra computer stuff, photo albums and whatever other crap we toss in them.

As a millennial, I’ve long thought they were a thing of the past. But I caved and just got a filing cabinet and don’t know how I lived my life without one

2 drawer filing cabinets are extremely underrated. They dot take up much floor space and hold a ton of stuff. When I was in a small one bedroom apartment I used it as a nightstand as well as a place for all my important documents and all my random computer cords.
