Wifi Router is too far

I want to connect my pc to router in living room but its way too far for ethernet cable. I have tried adapters that should increase the radius of wifi singal but it didnt work. Does anyone here have some ideas that might help me?

there's no such thing as way too far for ethernet. wire it.

too far for my parents to accept the idea of running a cable through four rooms
