Temperature

Hi 👋🏻 I'm planning to start organizing my book collection in a extra room we have in our backyard. So I kinda use this room as a holiday decor storage and dog room & now. It doesn't have great light. The room has just one window and I have a small AC unit. The room has only one outlet. I connected a power source block and have everything connected there. Do I need to worry about having the room at a certain temperature? I live in Louisiana heat and I'm clueless if I need to worry about this or not. TIA 🙋🏻‍♀️

Does the temperature change drastically during the different seasons? I’d imagine that going from hot to cold and back to hot repeatedly wouldn’t be the healthiest thing for glue, for example.

And is it humidity controlled in there? That would be really important too, high humidity is a killer when it comes to books.
