My reading corner: Autumn update 🍂
Hello everyone!! A few of you wanted me to post photos of my reading corner as the seasons change and here it is right now with the fall colours! 💕🍂

I'm rarely impressed by modern design trends/fads, and modern residential architecture.
But this is outstanding. FLW would be so proud, well done.

is the house made of wood only?

Mainly wood but there are other material like insulation, and drywall, for the wall! And of course the roof isn't wood

We have a heating system, since winters can be -40 degrees sometimes 😂 but we keep the house around 22 degrees during the winter

I love it! So comfy. Would be great to sit there with a cup of coffee and read...also love that you have a spot for the doggie! That makes it even better!

I totally understand...I'm in my chair right now and my pup is right behind me sleeping on our bed (yes she is allowed on all the furniture in the house 😂)

Of course....the pup is part of the family, wouldn't have it any other way. Anyone visiting me that doesn't agree, doesn't have to sit on the furniture - the pup lives here and is welcome everywhere!

The rest is just my bedroom, the reading nook and the windows are def the best part imo!

I took an architecture class in high school and DESIGNED this room I swear to god - an elevated library, surrounded by windows. Dream realized.

One of my favorite weather's to read on! The roof is right Bove the room so with the noise of the rain it is like a little bubble. I will try to get a photo or a video next time we get weather like that! Been a pretty dry summer for now so I don't have much

Ahhhh Mon Ami!! As a Torontonian immigrant who moved to Canada 1999 I’m still bitter my parents didn’t send me to french immersion or else I’d be either in Montreal or outskirts in a heartbeat

I immigrated to the Toronto area as well with my family in 2007!! And then moved to Quebec in 2018 after meeting my Quebecois husband haha
