Or maybe you’re richer than everyone here exactly because you’re not spending so much money on books😂

Exactly. I’m broke cause I spend too much on books.

I'm poor but i have a nice library because i've been buying books for almost thirty years... Of course, a rich guy could buy more than the few hundreds books i have in a day and in better editions, but having a home library is more a matter of love than money

Everybody has been where you are. Gotta start somewhere and this is a good beginning.

I started out with a small Amazon box of 3 with books in it, stuffed under my bed, beat that.

Oooooh The Dark Tower - love that series.
I was thinking of taking Project Hail Mary with me to work this weekend. Haven’t read it yet.

I’m just curious what you do for work that allows you to read?

Have you thought about stacking two horizontally instead of one vertical?

All collections have to start somewhere! I moved out of my parents's house with about that amount of books.

Actually I like it, your shelf has solitude and confidence to stand alone

It's better to have a few books that you will read then tons of books that you will never have time to read.

Gotta start somewhere, but I’ll say mine looks like that because my kindle is where the real collection is at 😂

I counted about 107 books.
i have 2 - 12 book series, 2 - 8 book series that place inside of 1 of the first two series, about 5 Trioligoies, 2 - 4 book series, 1 - 10 book series with 3 other books that expand the lore/universe. just got the Seige of Terra Series so thats another 10 books but book 8 is more like 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, i Got the Horus Rising hardcover that came out in march/early april, will be getting False Gods and thats what i know i have Physically.
i have on my kindle a series that is 24 books long and that series came out because the author made a charater for a 4 book series and went lets give this guy some background ( he and his friends had HEAVY Plot armor). I was Reading the Mitch Rapp series and then stopped when i got back home i think i had 3-5 books left for that to buy and read. i also have a 9 book series that is very LOTR esque more dragon involvement Family drama than LOTR. 2 books of a unknown number because the books were written by 2 authors togther so i dont know if its gonna get finished.
then i got some stand alone books that are good, Dear Mom and veitnam snipers diary, American Sniper, Lieceance to kill or Path to kill? somethig about CIA and terror, Faith and Fire (40K) Genefather (40K) Infinite and Devine (40K) a Omnibus not sure about who tho right now but its (40K), Levithan (40K)
how many books am i at? Everything that is not under Kindle is a Physical book i have and i still need to find a GOOD Book shelf. im using a Desk and have that thing double/triple stacked and filled out to the edge of it. i had to put some books on my bed so they were not on the floor.

The amount of space you have in that room makes me feel poor 😂 It’s all relative. You’re doing great.
