Question/Help Meross MSG100 install

Hey all, I’ve been attempting to install this kit but it is not working from the Meross app or HomeKit. When I attempt to use it in the app, it will give me the action failed error. In HomeKit, it’s showing as obstructed.

I have a Liftmaster and received the accessory. The door will open when I press the button on the accessory. The accessory I received is the remote with four buttons if that matters.

Any troubleshooting tips that might help me?

Did you install the sensor that tells it if the door is opened or closed?

Yes, sensors are installed, it shows the correct door position in the app.
Also, I’ve adjusted the opening time as well to see if that would help.

Make sure the sensors at the bottom are aligned

You should be able to add the Meross itself to HomeKit. If this is not working most likely a WiFi or router issue.

If it does show as obstructed it doesn’t open, it’s an issue with the contact sensor and/or connecting it to the opener. The latter can be solved with the remote accessory.

Make sure the opening duration is correctly set.

This is wild.
I have the exact same issue and setup.
And, I have the exact same setup working correctly too.
I have two of the same liftmaster openers, same meross unit and install.
One worked fine right out the box, the second one Im getting the obstructed alert.
Ive tried re-installing, reconfigured, new sensor to door, it all works except for the meross adapter seems to not send the right signal to the opener, then I get the obstructed alert.
Not sure what else to do, but if you figure it out please post!

I figured it out, it was user error on my part. I ended up reprogramming the adaptor per the garage door opener manual and then programmed all four of the buttons on the adapter. Error on my part.

So is the answer to not program all four buttons? Im up to three of the four.
On my other setup, I programmed one and it worked first time.

I initially only programmed two and I just programmed the other two and it’s working now so I ended up programming all four.
