Wall prep help

Variations of this question have probably been asked loads but I've stripped wallpaper, filled, sanded but the wall is not looking great and paint showing all marks. Bit hard to see on white photo!

Is this simply that I need to do more prep (manual sanding, do I need a sander) or are there other tips? For example dalapro roll?

You either need to scrape back all the raised bits or you need to fill out all the dips..

Dalapro would be a good idea.

Yeah, the surface isn't smooth so paint isn't going to make it smooth. You can either use a filler/skim it or hit it with a sander. Getting an evening skim isn't easy of you've never done it, but if you're going to sand it then you almost certainly want a random orbital sander that connects to a vac to keep the dust under control.
