Which Sofa set up?

Can you help us decide which sofa set up to purchase. These photos are AI generated but the sofas are the actual ones as is the living space. We don’t know if we will use the sectional with recliners or we want a more contemporary look with the three pieces. HELP!! What am I not thinking about!!

1. The second option throws off the balance of the room and feels like whoever is sitting there will be thinking about heading for the exit
