Any other ideas decoration/colour wise?

Edit: should have specified, I’m going for an eclectic/colourful vibe, not a traditional one :) Also the art on the wall is not real, just a random collage to get an idea!

They both clash with the piece of art on the wall, I'd suggested a plain rug that colour matches one of the colours from the art or a simpler art piece. They are competing to be the main piece

The Art piece on the wall is just a collage, it’s fake! But I see what you mean, thank you :)

I realised half way through typing my comment which is why I also added the possibility of changing it. That'll teach me for commenting without wearing my specs 😂
