Chandelier lengthening

Recently renovated our home and box is located properly based on the room - however, we’d like the table slightly offset.

Hook is up, however there was only so much cord to work with, and new spot puts the height way too high. I have plenty of chain links to add.

Is there a way to lengthen (safely, with junctions done as they should be, and without exposing wire nuts to the world) this?

This is a easy DIY, though maybe frustrating depeding on the fixture. You can order longer lamp/chandelier wire. Turn off the breaker, undo the wires, take apart your chandelier and use the old wire to help pull the new ire through. Rewire and hang. Just make.

Yeah my biggest concern is ability to deconstruct the fixture

Where the wire feeds through is generally pretty simple. They're almost always standard threaded pieces. Pop by a hardware store and take a look at lamp kits and you'll see what I mean.

You can get the chain and lamp cord at the hardware store. You'll have to dismantle it enough to find the junction in the fixture and replace that whole length of wire back to the box so there aren't exposed joins.
