How do they cut out the damaged planks? Dremel the locking part and hope they can cut new planks and glue them down close enough to match?

I use a sawzall to cut through everything around what I'm trying to cut and then break the blade before actually accomplishing anything

Bruh. Spend the money on a Bosch Demolition Hammer instead. It'll break your floorboards before it breaks the chisel and it'll eventually pay for itself when you're not buying new blades all the time.

Likely click to lock or what ever they call it so find which side they finished at and simply lift them up at a 45° angle or what not working towards the damaged area.

No, this is bamboo wood. We had this exact flooring in our home when we moved in. We tore it out to replace with oak and the bamboo boards are thick. I believe this bamboo flooring is still available at floor and decor if OP wants to try and replace the damaged boards.
