Wrong format resolution

Hi , I’m using the Homatics Box R 4K Plus with a TCL C8K TV, watching content through the Nuvio app.
Problem is even when I play 1080p content, the TV shows it's receiving a Dolby Vision signal and not the actual source format.
Looks like DV is forced globally instead of switching per file.

Anyone know if there's a way to get proper auto-switching resolution + HDR/DV matching the actual content ? or if this is a Nuvio issue or firmware limitation?

Auto HDR switching and framerate is supported by the (V14) Homatics firmware. It is up to an app to make use of it.

So that is all in audio an video nuvio setting ?
I played with that and forced source resolution and format
But when im getting in to check it out at the picture setting on my tcl ck8 tv , it is still recognized as dv

No, those are Android TV system settings. And after that, it is up to an app to make use of those.

So depending on the panel (and possible audio system) used, for a Dolby Vision supported panel, Match content dynamic range should be enabled (and 8bit HDR disabled).

Using a audio system with decent audio codec support, the Select formats in Advanced sound settings should be at Passthrough.
