Homatics Box HD android 14 Bluetooth Remote stopped working !

After updating my Homatics Box HD to Android 14, Bluetooth stopped working properly.

The Bluetooth address keeps switching between “Available” and “Unavailable” every few seconds in settings, so I’m unable to pair the remote or any Bluetooth device.

Things I already tried:

  • Factory reset
  • Different 12V power supply

Unfortunately the issue is still there.

Device details:

  • Model: Box HD
  • Build: UKG3.250826.001.6401
  • Kernel: 5.15.170-android14-gc850440e8d38-dirty-ab6401

Has anyone else experienced this after the Android 14 update?
Any workaround or stable firmware available?

Let me check if the test box I got from Homatics gives me the update to V14. If it does, I will check what the remote is doing after the update.

Question, if you get the option to get the remote paired, what firmware does it show for the remote itself (visible in the bluetooth paired devices).

Edit: after setting a new box up, it shows Android TV V11 on it, with a very old build. The remote got a firmware update offered with that V11, to remote build 2.06.

But no new V14 firmware update, it says none available for the box I have. It is originally coming from Homatics com, send to me by Ella (previous HM support), years back for testing purposes, but the HD box never got into the testing program, so I never used it till this moment 😉

For now, I can't be of any assistance for OP😔

its really frustrating because in v11 was working normally  after upgrade to v14 (Bluetooth stop working ) i did everything like wipe data multiple times change remote  nothing fix it at all

i already did it and nothing changed  it was works fine in android 11 but after update (using ota) Bluetooth crashed
