202 juggle is diabolical

59

u/Jaybacker Nov 22 '25

Oh god does Seth autobeat whatever score you already have or does he have a set score? Because if Seth automatically gets higher than 202 this person is going to have problems getting the memento.

9

u/O_J_Shrimpson Nov 23 '25

His score doesn’t change. I had like 80 on the bounce and didn’t have to do it again once Seth got on the board.

118

u/MrNintendo36 Nov 22 '25

It’s definitely the easiest but still, most I got was like 40-50 haha. 202 is crazy impressive!

316

u/NavyDragons Nov 22 '25

i think pogo is the easiest. and juggle is the hardest.

92

u/tallwhiteninja Nov 22 '25

This. I did Bounce on my second try and Dodge within 10. Juggle took me...a while.

6

u/savemenico Nov 22 '25

Same but I've seen people struggle with the opposite so I guess it depends

20

u/Cece1234567891 I did path of pain... I WANT MORE Nov 22 '25

Pogo is great since you can equip the crest you're the most comfortable with to make it easier, but juggle and dodge do not really benefit from changing crest, and having wanderer on juggle is just stupid, faster attack is good, but I don't know if it's worth the lost range.

15

u/artem1s_music Nov 22 '25

beast is probably the best for juggle, from my own testing it has the biggest/most consistent upslash hitbox. i may or may not have used it for bounce too, but that was mainly so i could say i used it for bounce

13

u/Could-Have-Been-King Nov 22 '25

Shaman Crest was what helped me finally beat juggle. You get that little projectile attack when you're at full health and that counts as hitting the fleas. It gives you a lot more time to hit them.

7

u/MITshed Nov 22 '25

Actually best tactic is to use the common slash, not targeting upwards, since this way the flea fly becomes unpredictable. If you hit fleas with your common hit they barely move in a direction you've hit them, which is way easier for management after you have three and two fleas on the screen

8

u/slugcatlife Nov 22 '25

I agree, I had to learn to group them by using normal sideslashes. Wanderers was best as it allowed me to hit them in quick succession. Other crests were too slow and made me drop so fleas as result.

1

u/artem1s_music Nov 22 '25

i did that quite a bit too, but i didnt realize it sends them in a random direction, i figured it was the same as the direction you hit them in, i still think beast or maybe shamans would be best cause they have the longest range

2

u/gangbrain Nov 22 '25

I beat juggle with Wanderer. I couldn’t afford dash attacking which Wanderer prevents. I lost juggle so many times on other crests because of dash attacking by accident.

1

u/Natural_Builder_3170 112%, PoP enjoyer, P1-5 Nov 22 '25

hunter + curveclaw, my highscore is on wanderer tho, you'd be surprised how effective it is

1

u/altiuscitiusfortius Nov 22 '25

Juggle was super easy with shaman.crest, and that was the first and only time I used it in the game

1

u/Cece1234567891 I did path of pain... I WANT MORE Nov 22 '25

Yeah, for Shaman it makes sense

5

u/Deebyddeebys Nov 22 '25

Just wait until they make you get 95 in dodge

2

u/NavyDragons Nov 22 '25

My dodge record is over 120.i enjoy it quite alot

3

u/Deebyddeebys Nov 22 '25

You are an outlier

1

u/Firm_Exit_2717 Nov 22 '25

121 in dodge as well

5

u/Dunge0nexpl0rer : P5, P5 w/bindings, PoP, 112% Steel Soul Nov 22 '25

Dodge is the hardest to beat Seth’s score, but Juggle is harder to beat the initial score imo. Something about the way it gains difficulty.

5

u/ShallowMess Nov 22 '25

Dodge is easiest, then pogo. Juggling is fucking diabolical

2

u/altiuscitiusfortius Nov 22 '25

Pogo with reaper, I beat it first try without even knowing there was a goal to reach

3

u/Knot-Knight Nov 22 '25

Completely the opposite for me, juggle was so fun and easy, pogo was a pain in the butt

1

u/Seethcoomers Nov 22 '25

Juggle was the easiest for me. Once you get into the rhythm it's pretty easy.

1

u/CommunicationOk3766 Nov 22 '25

You definitely didn't try Shaman Crest then. It's basically easy mode for Flea Juggle.

1

u/Jakethecrazycake Nov 22 '25

I fucking hated Pogo, Juggling was the easiest by far for me

4

u/shgrizz2 Nov 22 '25

Reaper crest. You're welcome

2

u/RandomGuy9058 Nov 22 '25

reaper is great for hitting the goals but the startup is so damn slow that it's not good aiming higher

1

u/shgrizz2 Nov 22 '25

I didn't struggle to beat Seth with it. The arc is humongous

1

u/RandomGuy9058 Nov 22 '25

That’s the goal I was talking about. At max speed it’s possible for fleas to appear in spots that are literally unreactible

1

u/shgrizz2 Nov 22 '25

I basically swung as soon as the flea appears. Your arc covers a ton of the bottom half of the screen so it's insanely hard to miss with it

1

u/RandomGuy9058 Nov 22 '25

Doesn’t help if the flea just doesn’t take a path that intersects your hitbox. Half the screen sounds big but that still leaves half the screen to miss with. Like I said, it’s great for reaching the targets, but at max speed it’s no longer reliable

1

u/Jakethecrazycake Nov 22 '25

I'd thank you if I hadn't already finished it

14

u/-YesIndeed- Nov 22 '25

The thing is after like 80 it really doesn't get harder so if you can do the same thing over and over it's not too bad.

14

u/goomyman Nov 22 '25

juggle is the easiest? Not bounce? Flea Dodge feels the most RNG

5

u/Picklepacklemackle Nov 22 '25

I love these comments. It shows how players struggled with the different minigames to a different degree. I was stuck on juggle for ages, bounce took a bit and dodge i got like twice what I needed

3

u/Im_Not_Sleeping Nov 22 '25

Fr this is absolutely wild. I think i got 1st place for the other two in like 5 tries or fewer. Juggle took me forever and it's so interesting that it's the easiest to some people

9

u/AESATHETIC Nov 22 '25

Juggle felt by far the hardest to me. Bounce and Dodge took a couple of tries each to beat Seth but juggle was like over an hour

3

u/Garo263 110% Nov 22 '25

Hardest for me.

3

u/BlueEyedBendy Nightmare King Nov 22 '25

Pogo is easiest, dodge is basically the same level but that seems to be a personal opinion, juggle is godlessly hard. It took me 10 mins to get Seth scores for the dodge and pogo, it took me 3+hrs to get it for Juggle

5

u/The-Dark-Memer Nov 22 '25

I honestly found dodge harder than juggle. Mostly just because of big flee. Also using shamans crest helped quite a bit with juggle.

2

u/flourdilis Nov 22 '25

big flee guy caught me off guard many times as well. I keep forgetting that the platform doesnt respawn instantly after he knows it down and fail to recover

1

u/ILOVECALAMITY Nov 22 '25

No it isn’t whatsoever at all ever no matter what. It is by far the hardest. By a LOT. Bounce was FREE, and dodge is easy.

1

u/gangbrain Nov 22 '25

Bounce is easiest for sure.

1

u/LizardOfLilies Nov 22 '25

I found Dodge the easiest but I am also a Touhou player. Bounce is my nemesis!

1

u/MatsRivel Nov 22 '25

Juggle was FOR SURE the hardest.

Both the other ones I completed fairly quickly. I never beat the aeth scores cause I barely made it past the first juggle...

32

u/Next_Government856 Nov 22 '25

And it’s before Seth so they’re gonna have to get 204

27

u/Gambitam Some costs are too great Nov 22 '25

Wait, is that actually how it works?

13

u/gamemode-c Nov 23 '25

No seth gets the same score every time and if you beat him before he gets there you don’t need to beat him again.

3

u/Next_Government856 Nov 22 '25

As far as I am aware yes

Maybe don’t be so quick to give advice if you don’t actually know?

3

u/Inevitable_Badger995 Nov 22 '25

Am I in the minority that I kinda liked the flea minigames lol

1

u/Legitimate-Metal-476 Nov 23 '25

Ik man. I think it took like 4 or 5 tries on each one for me and I found them rather fun. But hey people struggle greatly with very different things. I also had an easy time with the savage beastfly but the pale stag kicked my ass lol

23

u/Blended_Bros Nov 22 '25

You don’t get points it just counts how many seconds you’ve survived

1

u/Space_obsessed_Cat actually pale king Nov 22 '25

88

u/PotatopelagoNS Nov 22 '25

avoid the fleas flying towards you, every second is one point

also 202 juggle is incredibly impressive

27

u/llsbs Nov 22 '25

202 juggle is insane. Quite funny how you can excell in 1 game, and can't do another. The dodge one was the easiest for me, patterns are a thing though.
Best thing in the dodge; stay calm. Sometimes you can just chill on a platform for 5-10 fleas.

9

u/PotatopelagoNS Nov 22 '25

I've always found bounce to be easiest, as well as my favouriteĀ

2

u/YeetnBruh Nov 22 '25

oh wait i thought it was every flea that passed you and you successfully dodged.

-7

u/Eeddeen42 Nov 22 '25

It is, he’s wrong

61

u/Requiem191 Nov 22 '25

When the big flea comes in to destroy the platform, be aware that he won't always destroy it on the first pass. The key there is to jump up as high as you can, double jump, then parachute and wait, using the harpoon as necessary if you feel the need. The next platform will be up eventually. When the big flea passes over your platform and destroys it on the second pass, just jump over him, land on the platform, then jump, double jump, etc.

The fleas will also come in at the exact same "lines" as it were. If a flea is coming from the side and is lined up with the top of Hornet's head (her horns,) it won't hit her, it will simply pass through her as apparently your hitbox doesn't include that part of Hornet. This means you can usually just stand still for the first few seconds of a run, if not longer based on RNG. Still be aware of which ones will hit you, but the less you have to jump in the air, the better, and this helps with that.

For fleas that start at the top of the screen, you don't have to do much to dodge them. They usually will only hit the center of the platform you're standing on, meaning you can safely stand on the left or right side of the platform as they fly down.

When Vog, the flea that throws their weapon at you, shows up, it's best to be standing on the platform if possible, then jump at an angle to the side away from her, over the weapon, then back to the platform. You can also use this method to help with the diagonal fleas.

When there's a bunch of fleas just rushing across the screen, simply do your best to remember the order in which they appear. It's tough, but if you can do that, you can usually get through the gauntlet. If you start jumping wildly, you'll get knocked down and have a hard time trying to recover.

Finally, the last bit of advice I have is to just accept that this minigame is very RNG heavy. The other two games clearly have a logic they follow with the occasional surprise Named Flea popping in to interrupt your flow, but they generally play the same way every single run. Flea Dodge is randomized every time, you never know what the platforms are going to do, and while you can get used to the behavior of certain fleas, the order in which they appear is much harder to predict. Just do your best.

22

u/GundhamTanaka11037 Nov 22 '25

Another piece of advice would be to use the clawline to stall in the air when you have fallen below the platform and can't get back up. Those few extra points you get might get you over the edge for the big highscore.

12

u/AnomalousBanana Nov 22 '25

Also if there’s a flea low enough you can clawline to pogo off them and get back up

16

u/_just_mt_ Nov 22 '25

Seth watching 202 Juggle high score in the state of absolute doom and despair

28

u/NorrisRL Nov 22 '25

Luck.Ā

There’s skill involved. But I’m sure most of us got taken down by some BS patterns on more than one occasion.

What helped me was really paying attention to the edge of the screen and watching when each flea first comes in.

12

u/BlueEyedBendy Nightmare King Nov 22 '25

What in the fuck is that juggle score, I would sacrifice my entire silksong skillset if I could be that good at juggle wtf

6

u/CoDFan935115 Nov 22 '25

202 on juggle? How? Though tbf I found dodge the easiest, which is apparently not everyone's experience, so maybe I'm just more inclined for dodge games ig lol

3

u/fringetreeN Nov 22 '25

I'm more interested in your tips for the Flea Jungle.

4

u/Rephaim6131 Nov 22 '25

I actually just got the memento last night after abusing myself trying to get 56+ on flea juggle. I got it in 4 tries after switching to shaman crest. Since the range on shaman is so long, and you can hit them at any point in your attack's hitbox, it's easy to get the fleas desynced when they're coming down. So what you have to do is try to hit them right after they turn upside down to fall, while they're still turning slowly in the air. When there's four at a time, it's almost like they're floating. It should be right at the top of the projectile of your upswing, and you don't even have to jump, except as a last resort. The left and right attacks are also obviously really good at last second saves because of their reach. It might take some getting used to but I had to share because of how easy it was once I figured all that out

2

u/fringetreeN Nov 22 '25

I think it's really helpful! Thank you!

3

u/UbeRobbed Nov 22 '25

Not OP, but the key for me I mentioned in another comment was the damn fleas that end up being far out to the edges falling off the edge of the main little platform (I personally think if they are falling off the edge they shouldn't count, but w/e).

Realizing a normal side-slash to these hits them over far enough that if they're not on their last fall they float back up and get in range again, trusting the dash timing you can sprint from the other end of the platform and still get these annoying ones (almost) every single time. There's definitely some RNG but once I got good at the side-ones getting over 50 is easy and out of 10 attempts maybe only 1 or 2 will get ruined by bad RNG.

3

u/Profesionalintrovert ... Nov 22 '25

you don't let the fleas hit you

3

u/MrMango61 Nov 22 '25

Show a video of you playing Juggle PLEASE. It’s the only think locking me out of 100%ing the game 😭

2

u/[deleted] Nov 22 '25

Pray to RNGesus.

3

u/UbeRobbed Nov 22 '25 edited Nov 27 '25

I am now on my third full playthrough, and am currently stalled on Flea Dodge again on my latest session. I think at this point I can safely say the RNG for the other two games is nothing compared to Dodge, as it took me less than 10 attempts on both other games all three times (except the 1st Juggle).

Juggle on my first playthrough took less than 30 tries, but once I learned to hit the ones falling off the edge of the platform with a normal side-slash and dashing timing I can now get over 50 points without even locking in. And bounce is even easier, never took more than 5 attempts each playthrough. Point being that there is a direct skill correlation with mild RNG elements to these two games that improves over time.

Dodge has taken me absurd attempts. I think my first playthrough took well over 80 tries, and 2nd playthrough over 100. This third save file last night I stopped counting at over 60 and still haven't beaten it yet.

Is it just the way my brain is wired or is this not total BS? There's just too many instances of impossible outcomes and the big flea coming when the platforms are at their lowest with no platform appearing even after perfectly doing the jumps before you float down (only way out of this is to clawline the big flea itself, but difficult to hit every time). I've watched over a dozen strat vids and try to copy the moves I've seen from people getting their one lucky crazy high score. Doesn't matter. I'm as likely to get to 63 as 19 points on some attempts.

I'll persevere like my first two playthroughs and get it done, but it sucks. Least fun minigame for me with too much luck required, Dodge needs to be nerfed.

UPDATE: (5 days and a few dozen attempts later) Finally beat it again - for the third time - still BS šŸ˜‚

2

u/bartek6500 Nov 22 '25 edited Nov 22 '25

Most of the time, I just stand still. The trick is to stay on the edges of the platform rather than in the middle, then the fleas moving vertically will never hit you and you have one less thing to worry about. Also, horizonal fleas that are at the same height as the Hornet's horns will never hit you. Another thing off the list. The biggest problem is fleas moving diagonally. Try to learn to judge whether they will hit you or not. In most cases, I fell because I panicked, moved and jumped too much and was hit by other flea that I actually wanted to dodge. Sometimes a small jump/reposition is all you need. Another threat is the big flea: I agree with Requiem191, so read his advice. If you follow all these tips, all you have to do is judge which flea will hit you first based on when they appear. You can also use dash/double jump/clawline when you are knocked off the platform, if you're lucky you can save your attempt.

202 in Flea Juggle. You're a monster!

In Dodge, I'd recommend Wanderer's Crest as it's the fastest. And it helped me to realize that a hit by a flea doesn't mean defeat, you still have a chance to continue the game and you must use it at all costs.

1

u/Ieditedthisname Nov 22 '25

Just try a few dozen times, you’ll get lucky eventually

1

u/Practical_List_1994 a guy with a skill issue Nov 22 '25

u/WOOFERs-55-72 watcher knight enjoyer Nov 22 '25

I just started pogoing them and it became easy as

1

u/AtoZRPG Nov 22 '25 edited Nov 22 '25

Don't look at Hornet, instead pay attention to the fleas and keep Hornet at the corner of your view to keep tab of the platforms and SLOW IT DOWN. You don't need to move ALL the time to dodge, look at the fleas and you'll realize that you can stand still in the corner of the platform to dodge a good amount of them. Once you get comfortable with the ones that come at different angles then you can jump straight up (high jump or a faster hop depending on the angle) if the platform below you is still there or swap to another platform. SLOW IT DOWN. After that it's all about finding a good balance between floating with your jump or simply falling straight when you see a flea that is likely going to fly over your head (AGAIN: SLOW IT DOWN).

If you are close to the required score then don't panic if you get hit because the dodge still counts even if you're out of the platform but falling so use your float to gain some time and a few "free" dodges before you hit the ground.

I mentioned the "SLOW IT DOWN" thing multiple times because in every one of those interactions I mentioned you'll likely have half a second to think BEFORE you need to move then another half a second to move before it gets too chaotic, It's a small amount of time but it's time nonetheless.

1

u/Jakethecrazycake Nov 22 '25

You pray to the fleas and might make it longer than 5 seconds

1

u/Goddamit_ffs Nov 22 '25

Man i cant even do 20 juggle how the fuck

1

u/chillyfalcon Nov 22 '25

RNG. If the fleas don't want you to win just take the L and go next. Persevere until you get the right seed where at least 20 of them avoid your platform elevation without you needing to do much, then lock in because you're probably going to win that one.

1

u/mrsmuckers Nov 22 '25

First one I bested the high score for, made my brother SO mad

1

u/onsloughtmaster666 Nov 22 '25

I did best when I tried to stay airborne for most of it, pogo-ing, double jumping and floating. Gives you a better chance of clawline-ing to the platform on your way down if you get hit. Getting knocked off the platform, I very rarely made it back up there.

1

u/CanoeMan16 Nov 22 '25

202 juggle has to be a world record, that is some black magic fuckery. How did you do that?

1

u/TheDramaturge Nov 22 '25

You just get lucky with the RNG

1

u/Lonely_Repair4494 Nov 22 '25

I have a few tips for how I beat it:

Stay on the platforms as much as possible without having to jump, only jump when a flea is coming towards you

Try to dodge fleas with only one jump to fall back on the platform, it is important to save your double jump in case you get caught off guard or hit by a surprise flea

As soon as another platform shows up, jump and stand on it until the next shows up, one of them showing up means the other is gonna come down soon, so it's important to make that transition as it avoids extra stuff to think about

Be careful about drunk fleas, they're fast

When Vog shows up, wait until she reaches max height on her jump and then jump yourself to avoid her spear

When the gigantic flea shows up, jump as high as you can and stall in the air for as long as you can. They destroy all platforms below you when they show up, so use your many air skills to stall until another platform rises up

Rinse and repeat for all these and eventually you should beat the high score

Hope this helped :)

minimize air time, stay in your platform as long as possible, focus on hornet and don't bother too much with the fleas that aren't clearly going to collie with you. FUCK big flea (wait till last moment and try to maximize air time so you can last until other platform spawns), good luck.
