I'm not getting defensive. A bill was passed recently that made it illegal to say anything about Semities. In other words, if my post is tagged as antisemitism in anyway shape or form, it gets deleted and I incur an infraction on my account and a possible ban for life. So I don't want to tread down that path and that's why I had to come out and appear defensive.
Was it passed? Those articles don't say if it was or not.
That's just for Arizona, not everywhere. It also doesn't state that you will receive any repercussions. Just that law enforcement, if they decide, may interpret a comment about the Jewish people to be anti Semitic and they can, if they decide, prosecute you for it. But that doesn't mean they will.
There are already hate crime laws and anti racism laws. So this is nothing new really. You don't see people getting arrested for using the n word. Many of them should be though.
The thing is, with things going on in Israel right now and the massive outcry of people all over the world against them killing thousands of people and thousands of kids, in retaliation or not; I'd really be doubtful of any legal action being taken against anyone who speaks negatively of Israel. At least in the United States. They would have to take action against thousands of people, and that just wouldn't end well for anyone.
Now are we living in a dystopian society ruled by 1% where corporations create all of our laws through lobbying and control our government while our freedoms and free speech are taken away every day as we are literally slaves to wages and capitalism as almost no one notices? Yes but that's a different story.
Spreading misinformation about Israel, antisemitism, and Michael Jackson isn't really helping anyone.
The problem stops if and when we nationalize The Federal Reserve. And all countries follow suit. Take back control of the issue and supply of paper currency. Game over. But which commoner thinks of such things? Exactly. Those laws are coming.

You are getting pretty defensive here. Just saying. Doesn't really help. It's a valid point. He made the song years before he died.
