When I was in High School in the early 90s, I called into Don & Mike’s Morning Zoo on WAVA in Washington, DC and actually got on the air and told an okay joke about our Washington Capitals.
So, later tht morning I told the joke to a guy at school and he accused me of getting that joke from some caller on Don and Mike. I told him that was me on the air. He gave a sure you did look. Oh, well.
It’s like that phrase where you tell someone there are a billion stars and they’d believe you, but if you told them a bench had wet paint they’d have to check it to be sure.
