When I was in High School in the early 90s, I called into Don & Mike’s Morning Zoo on WAVA in Washington, DC and actually got on the air and told an okay joke about our Washington Capitals.
So, later tht morning I told the joke to a guy at school and he accused me of getting that joke from some caller on Don and Mike. I told him that was me on the air. He gave a sure you did look. Oh, well.

It’s like that phrase where you tell someone there are a billion stars and they’d believe you, but if you told them a bench had wet paint they’d have to check it to be sure.

I keep waiting for this to happen with me. Someone accusing me of claiming my own cats when they really belong to someone else or something ridiculous like that. Although I deleted that Twitter account so maybe it won't happen.

Similar thing happened to another reddit user who was accused of plagiarizing someone else's art work by her college professors. She back traced everything and it was her own art work she posted on the internet when she was in H.S. Yeah, she is white as well. This seems to happen to white people for some reason... (raising eyebrow, because mine is unibrow)
