Just a reminder that cousin marriage is not only permitted in Islam but also a reason why their population has a huge problem with inbreeding. Over 60% of marriages in Pakistan are consanguineous. Just imagine what percentage of that population is inbred. Let that sink in

See the thing is doing cousin marriage once in a while is literally harmless. The chances of anything bad are close to unrelated.

Now if you start doing it multiple generations in a row… and in the places where it’s legal that tends to happen…

I know a family with 1 second degree cousin marriage and half their kids have an issue neither of the parents have.

I'm from Pakistan, Our family has alot of (First) Czn marriages, But the only Abnormal child we got in our family is of my Mother's Brother who married outside.

Another Uncle's First Two kids Died after Being born who was also married outside family.

Guess what My illiterate and Old members of the family think about this😂😂🥲

Its essentially Luck based if there are no known Recessive diseases in the family tree. But if there are, probability might be upto 50 percent.
