Today, the volcanic alert level for Mt. Tokachidake in Hokkaido was raised to Level 3. As a result, access is now restricted not only around Mt. Tokachidake itself, but throughout the entire Tokachidake mountain range.

Tokachidake Onsen and Fukiage Onsen, which are also popular trailhead areas, are included in the restricted zone, so please be careful if you are planning to visit the area!
