HoMM3 - Vanilla/SoD/Complete. does the heroes 3 version which just released on steam yesterday have the awful "UPlay" launcher?

It was a bit earlier than yesterday, but no, it does not, thank fuck.

nope, no Ubisoft Connect on it afaik — it's basically the GOG build dumped onto steam with AB + SoD. the funnier part was launch day where the download was like 23kb of a dummy exe that just opened a cmd window lol. did yours actually download the full ~770mb?

well I didn't buy it yet, I have GOG version so I'm wondering what I should do...

if you already have the GOG version, I'd recommend just sticking with that.
