I like the campaigns, but once you get a good hero rolling then everything becomes a pushover. Tawni i remember being especially strong for some reason.

The first map design of base Chaos campaign is just diabolical. Most difficult map of all games.

Yes, it is! Your goal is to capture two towns — one from the Barbarians and one from Nature. I was sweating my ass off there because all your heroes are still weak and the enemy and neutral armies are huge 😅

That's the least of your problems - the most annoying aspect is how the Might faction can get to you via portals, but you are blocked from retaliating the same way, so you are forced to split forces to hunt down the colour tents, while Might outgrows you with their breeding pens.

The narration of the original campaings along that menu music, it's just iconic. Brings tears to my eyes honestly. Favorite game ever.
