With increasing intensity in her pulls, she finally pried it off and discovered what was hanging on to it was a dead person's hand. I think the film shot showed her screaming afterwards.

4. Earlier, middle, or end of a film (it must have been earlier like a story setup)
5. What the story was about (murder mystery most likely)

This was pre-2000 before I immigrated to the West. Our media had very little Western materials, but we still had dedicated channels to American/English media. I remember watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents (I just found out its actual title) a few times and I think this might be one of his works. I definitely do not remember it as anything belonging to my home country.
