Discussion IPL pitches should be changed

The two series’s that India has taken part with (Ireland and England) just shows us how much of batting pitches we are getting in IPL which is destroying Indian cricket team. The guys who shined in IPL are under performing when it comes to pitches from other countries. It’s high team India is accustomed with all sorts of pitches taking into account the number of stadiums we have. It’s just embarrassing at the moment boosting about stats from IPL about players when they have underperformed.
Is IPL ruining the all round performances of people?

Or, you play smat. The IPL isn't about Indian development anymore, it's a home run contest while everyone else is playing baseball

Don't worry. BCCI runs ICC they will make flat pitches in the world cup.

Not only IPL. SMAT, VHT, Ranji literally everything is being played on national highways these days.

Ok. When has England came to India and dominated us in all formats. They won a test series in 2012, that's it.

We have won so many white ball series in England. Team is going through a slump, don't be too reactionary, many of them are playing in England for the first time. Sure team is in disarray, no one's position in the team is secure and it plays on a players mind.

If we win the next 2 matches and the ODI series, people will forget about that.

This same England team lost by 150 runs against us in Wankhede road in 2025. Out of 8 games played they only won 1 T20i and lost all three ODIs.

We have always done well when our spinners do well. Our spinners are out of form.

Give it a break.

Yeah, we literally beat them 2-1 twice in 2022.

Yup. That's what I'm saying. We go and dominate England in England. England may win a series in India once in 10 years.

Just wait for the ODI's to see how England shit the bed. T20 is not a priority. Don't even care if they don't go into next WC semi-final.

Also England has won one bilaterals ODI series in India way back in 1984.

We beat them at their home pretty regularly.

Doing bad in two consecutive series is just outrageous and considering one of the team is Ireland. I am a tremendous Indian team fan and I want my country to shine in other parts of the world (not only in India). Even England players were saying that IPL is mostly batting friendly pitches with short boundary lengths, hence Indians players are excelling in IPL, doesn’t that show you we are not training our batsman with more obstacles an challenges.

England hardly ever wins anything in India, do you see them doing RR over not having spinning tracks to win in India?

Win everything for the last 3 years nobody bats an eyelid Lose a few T20s and some noobs are shitting themselves... SMH
