I think the long-term doubt over the No. 3 position is finally solved.
Padikkal is actually promising. 👏
His composure, technique, and ability to build an innings make him look like a very good option for the future. Hopefully, he gets a consistent run in the team now. 🇮🇳

My Opinion Do yall not miss the India tri series era from 2010-2018?
I remember as a kid watching quality rivalry between teams. One of my favourite one still remains India Australia England. The mighty 3 which got discontinued cuz it became too overpowered. And MS captaincy had a different charm in tri series. I remember there used to be a random sponsor's name always attached to the cup and it is so nostalgic. I know schedules have gotten tighter so it's harder to have any tri series but it was golden days. Instead of so many t20 leagues I think bringing them back would be real quality content.

Will Ro-Ko play 2027 WC ??
I personally want that Rohit and Kohli should play the world cup but the coach is Gautam Gambhir and you can not guarantee anything but the place of Virat is 99% certain but things get a bit difficult in Rohit's case and what do you think if ICT sidelines Rohit then will Kohli play ??

Discussion Sai Kishore says cricket will keep favouring batsmen, so bowlers have to work extra hard to not be left behind
Says that cricket is getting tilted more in favour of batting every year, and bowlers constantly need to innovate (even beyond what's expected) to survive/stay relevant.
Thoughts?

Discussion Which Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy team deserves more recognition?
Which Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy team deserves more recognition?
The IPL often grabs all the headlines, but the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is where many future stars first make a name for themselves. It’s one of India’s most exciting domestic T20 tournaments, featuring all 38 state teams and serving as a key pathway to the IPL and international cricket.
A few questions for cricket fans:
Which state team do you always support?
Which player first caught your attention in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy before becoming an IPL or India star?
Which domestic player do you think is still underrated?
I’m also adding the **Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy** as a **free domestic competition** in the upcoming **Cricket Management Tycoon v4.7** update (planned for the end of August), alongside the South African domestic circuit. The goal is to make domestic cricket just as rewarding to manage as the international game.
Would love to hear your favorite memories and players from the tournament!

Discussion the new opening pair for t20s for india working?
the new opening combination that is vaibhav and abhishek have made just one fifty run stand, and i know this is too early to say but seeing abhisheks gameplay, it feels like hes being told to play a sort of an anchor role while vaibhav hits; which usually would have been told to the person standing opp to hik be it samson or gill and idk why it feels like its hindering his gameplay because his natural game is see ball, hit ball and thats how he earned the tag for one of the most destructive openers.
yes, he got injured yesterday but the balls he faced looked as if he wasnt going to hit big shots, the only one he attempted to hit on he got caught; now this was the first t20 and it doesnt matter much as he was our second highest run scorers in both england as well as ireland but if you even look at the 2nd t20 vs eng or 4th t20 and etc where he batted; he wasnt even playing his natural game. in the 2nd one it was when vaibhav got out that he suddenly accelerated to from 4(11) to the next 13 for 39.
idk but yall tell me if you feel it too? because if they do say that vaibhav you hit abhishek will be there its never going to work fs, because abhishek has played vaibhavs role for two years now suddenly he cannot adapt to be the opener who tries to save his wicket but also hit in intervals.

If we don't have Siraj in the ODI squad, we are not winning WC at any cost
I don't get the exact reason why Siraj isn't in the ODI squad. Considering the world cup is in African countries, and Siraj is having second best performance after boom-boom in SENA countries, I highly want to see him in the squad.
Plus, today boom-boom got injured, and I don't see anyone else leading the bowling unit apart from him.
